"You're mine." Cassar growled, ignoring his cousin.

"I'm not yours! Last time I checked, you can't own a person."

"That's what mates are. The only person you do own. I own you and you own me."

"You just proved my point. You don't own me because I am not your mate."

Cassar rolled his eyes, not even bothering to acknowledge me.

I looked around noticing that the other males had started to flee from the situation. Aiden turned slightly to wink at me before he shifted into his own grey wolf.

"What happened to the intruder?" I asked Cassar. Why was it so important to keep this intruder a secret?

Cassar's face turned grave. "Do you know many foxes?"

"Why?"

"The intruder is a fox."

My body froze for a mili-second. "And?"

"Did he come for you, or is it just a coincidence?"

I doubted it was a coincidence, but was it something for me to worry about?

"What colour of hair?"

"Pardon?" Cassar asked.

"What colour of hair does he have?" I asked again.

"Red."

"Then I don't care."
