I was not going to be shifting anytime soon. I really didn't feel like being murdered today.

"No."

"What now?" He asked, his patience running thin.

"I'm not shifting." I said, jutting out my hip.

If he found out I was the Silver Fox, I would for sure be skinned alive. Wolves didn't exactly appreciate my skill set and experience.

"Why?"

"Because I can't shift." I lied.

"Shortcake, again with the lying?"

"I don't want to shift."

"You have not shifted since you got here. Are you not dying to run in fox form?"

I was, a little. But I still wasn't shifting.

"Okay, okay, okay. The truth is, for someone to see my fox form, it's like a blessing. And I'm sorry but you just don't make the cut." I told him honestly.

He gave me a flat look. He was about to respond when we heard three wolves walking over to us.

Before getting too close to us the wolves went behind some trees and shifted into three males. When they came back out each of them were wearing a pair of pants.
