The queen shook her head. "Don't worry about it. It happens a lot." She reassured reassuringly.Roman chuckled lightly. "I guess it does." He agreed. He ran his fingers through his hair sheepishly. The queen hesitated again for a moment longer before speaking, trying desperately not to let him see just how nervous she actually felt. "Remember when we were young, when you used to come to visit all the time and we would talk for hours?" She asked quietly, glancing at him hesitantly to gauge his reaction.He remained silent. His expression didn't show anything but determination and curiosity. The queen sighed inwardly in relief, grateful that he didn't seem to notice how scared she was getting."Well, you mentioned something one day that you wished someone could be there with you when you needed them." She continued explaining softly.The prince frowned slightly. "Did I?" He inquired cautiously.The queen nodded reassuringly. "Yes. And ever since that conversation, I've wanted to meet him." The queen smiled brightly up at him. "Alright." She agreed eagerly.The king grinned widely, lifting the queen effortlessly into his arms and carrying her towards the stairs.The sun shone brightly through the windows, illuminating the large room as if it were daytime, giving an air of luxury and serenity to the spacious room. It seemed that the palace servants had managed to keep the guests entertained during the early hours, allowing them to enjoy a good night's sleep instead of having to suffer through the usual court protocol of eating and drinking, changing clothes, making bed, and generally getting ready for the next day. All three royal families enjoyed the peace and quiet of their first night together as a family for at least a little while.A couple of days earlier, when news had reached King Fernandez ears that the queen was pregnant, the king had rushed to her suite, where she was sitting in front of the fire, staring morosely into its comforting warmth, lost in thought."

"Good morning." An unfamiliar voice echoed through the dark room.Roman awoke slowly with a start, blinking drowsily several times before attempting to focus his vision. Once he managed to see clearly, he noticed the familiar face of the king hovering over him with a gentle expression. The king smiled reassuringly at him. "Hey there." He greeted warmly.Roman gave him a small smile. "Is something wrong?" He asked concernedly.The king shook his head. "No." He reassured him. "Everything is fine." He explained. He admitted sheepishly.The king nodded understandingly. "Do you want to go exploring now?" He inquired.Roman glanced around the room, frowning slightly. "Aren't you supposed to leave me here alone?" Roman's heart rate picked up, a concerned expression appearing on his face as his eyes widened in surprise.
