14: A Start of Something New (1)
Jax and Dione looked at the woman who shouted Jax’s name at the same time. Dione saw a girl with a cute high-waisted blue skirt and white crop top with a matching cami running towards Jax.
Dione frowned at this. And she was even more intrigued when the woman suddenly hugged Jax as if they had known each other for a long time. She stopped thinking when it entered her mind that she might be Jax’s girlfriend. And it might think that she’s Jax side chic. Being an overthinker, she had preceded the woman in introducing herself to her.
“I’m Dione, Jax’s good friend,” Dione interrupted the woman’s moment of hugging Jax. The woman pulled away from Jax’s embrace and looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
“Who are you?” the woman asked, as if she didn’t like Dione’s insertion at her moment with Jax.
“I-I’m Dione, I’m a good friend of Jax,” Dione said again. The woman
