YVONNE'S POV.

"Jansen, is he okay?"

My voice was a little broken and shaky as I stood in front of Jansen. I had just come home to see how he was doing. However, my eyes fell on the bandage on one of his arms.

"Oh my God, Jansen... you hurt your arm," I said as I picked up Jansen's arm, examining it intently. "Who did this to you?"

When I looked at Jansen, I found that his eyes were fixed on Kale. He seemed to be thinking about something, and I realized he was surprised I came with Kale.

"Jansen, are you in pain? Is your wound bad or not?" asked Kale who had also bent down, equalizing his height with Jansen.

"Why did you come with Uncle Kale?" That was all that came out of Jansen, instead of answering both of our questions.

I turned my gaze to Theo, he hadn't reacted since seeing me come with Kale. Even so I could tell from the way he looked at Kale, there was discomfort there.
