It was silent in the whole room after Mr. Moss had made known the outcome of the meeting to the family. The wife and the younger sisters were short of words. The wife's words were sharper at Mr. Moss who had been a passionate supporter of Shola. He had always rebuked Daniel whenever Daniel complained of Shola being a cultist.

“I believe now, you must have learned the lesson the hard way”. Mrs. Josephine muttered.
