Chapter 5 I Never Regret My Actions

Elliot was surprised, but as he looked at the woman who seemed eager to impress, he raised an eyebrow and smiled wickedly.

He gazed at her boldly. “So, you want it for real?”

Just as he restrained her petite chin and leaned in to kiss her, he felt a slight pain in the back of his neck.

It was as light as a mosquito bite, so he ignored it.

But Sophia suddenly stood up with a mischievous smile.

Elliot looked at the woman suspiciously and mocked, “Are you afraid?”

She laughed sarcastically as she held a thin needle in her hand. “Huh? Afraid of you? Not a chance!”

He hissed. ‘She really has no fear! How dare she provoke me?’

He got up to grab her, but he struggled to stand, and fell back to the ground because of his weak legs.

He frowned and looked at her in amazement. “What did you do to me?”

Sophia stepped back and looked at his changing expression with indifference.

“Oh, nothing much. I just saw you were getting tired from all your antics and thought you might need a rest.”

She then remembered something and began to search his body.

Elliot was infuriated and his veins began to bulge. “What are you doing?”

He tried to grab her again, but he was too weak, and she easily escaped his grasp.

Finally, Sophia pulled out a phone from his pocket and tapped it against his head.

“Shut up!”

Elliot looked at the phone in her hand and struggled to grab it, saying, “What are you doing with my phone?”

She tilted her head and smiled at him, “Well, I can’t let you call the police, of course!”

Her playful head tilt distracted him, and he watched as she threw his phone into the toilet bowl.

“Hey! Don’t do that!”

He heard the ‘thud’ of the phone as it fell in.

Elliot cursed, “You psycho! You’d better fish that out for me, or you’ll regret it!”

Sophia snorted arrogantly. “Don’t worry. I never regret my actions!”

He sat on the toilet, breathing heavily and gritting his teeth. “Alright! Fine! Just you wait!”

She looked at him and sneered, “You’d better not shout and make a fuss. Those guys who were after you might come back!”

With that, she opened the door and left.

Elliot’s eyes darkened. “Hey, are you just going to leave me like this?”

Sophia replied innocently, “What’s wrong? This place suits you pretty well. Trash should be separated, you know?”

After a pause, she gave him a gentle smile,

“I just thought you should know,

“Despite some foolishness that you show,

“I've noticed you're quite easy on the eyes.

“Oh, and ring me when you rise.

“Today seems perfect for this, wouldn't you say?”

She walked out and left him sitting on the toilet as he pondered the meaning of her words.

‘Did she really mean to praise me? But she’s a vicious woman! What is she talking about?’

He squinted, wondering if there was some sort of hidden message.

“I-D-I-O-T....You wicked…!”

He became furious as he figured it out, “Damn it! You physo! You’ll regret it if I ever run into you again!”
