"How dare you try to poison me?" Amelia gasped holding his hands as all air cut out of her lungs. "Stop." She whimpered with eyes widened in fear and terror.

Sebastian released her and held her shoulders slamming her hard against the wall.

"No!" Rieka screamed, her eyes widened in pure fright. "No." She whimpered and hurriedly turned around the ballroom searching for Ralph. Oh shit! He wasn't in the room. She stared around the room one last time and rushed out in search for Ralph. He was the only one that can help now.

The entire hall gasped when he slammed against the wall again, this time harder than the first. The crowds let out another gasp as he raised his hands in the air, his fangs stretching out, ready to strike her. But in the blink of an eye he was pushed away from her with a great force, landing on the other side of the room. Amelia let out repeated short breaths, dropping to the ground as she stared at the phoenix king standing a few meters from the alpha king.
