Chapter 14 Should I stay

Raven's POV

"Where are you from little one? You look lost yet you don't smell of a rogue."

"I left my pack, I can't go back there, not now."

"So you chose to become a rogue rather than stay in your home?"

I looked down at my feet as I shifted from one leg to the other uncomfortably when the woman spoke softly.

"Leave her, can't you see her pain?"

Then she turned to face me, a small smile made her face light up as I looked up to see her staring at me before she took a step closer to me, releasing her hold on the man.

"You look broken dear. Let us help you, please. There aren't many of us around here but if you'd like, you can stay here. What's your name?"

I hesitated but something inside me told us we could trust her, even Luana was encouraging me to.

"Raven, my name is Raven."

"Also, with pup?"

My eyes widened as I stared at her, I was pretty sure that's was why Luana refused to shift but it's only been a couple days, how could she?
