Ruby POV

I felt the heated looks of my friends on my back as I waited in line. Suddenly I felt someone press against my back.

"What the hell are you doing, princess?" Wolf whispered in my ear. I closed my eyes for a second and then shrugged.

"I'm in line for lunch" I replied with a fake smirk. I made the mistake of turning to look at his face. His eyes were dark and the rage shown there took my breath away.

"You know what I mean. What are you playing at with Clive of all people?" he asked.

"I was just helping him with some homework problem and he wanted to take me to The Spot to thank me" I replied, honestly. Wolf's face cleared suddenly and he smirked.

"You really think that Clive needed help with a homework problem? He's a genius. He could practically write the textbook" he asked with a sneer. I turned away as the realization hit me. He was right.
