Chapter 23: Chaotic Twins

Zeth sighed as he ended the call with his “mother.” She had called once again to pester him to marry someone and give her a grandchild. This was the second...no, maybe the third time of the month that she had called, and all three times, she said the same thing. Zeth finally told her that he doesn’t want to have a child in his lifetime just to shut her up.

He placed his phone inside his pocket and massaged the bridge of his nose. He only talked to his mother for a couple of minutes, but he already feels demotivated to go through the rest of the day. That’s the effect that his mom has on him. At this point, he doesn’t even want to call her his “mom.”
