POV Dean

I watched as Livia spoke to Willow. I had never paid much attention to Livia the few times I had met her she had seemed shy and quiet. Sam had introduced her as his mate but I had never seen them touch or act as normal mates. Now, I saw the tell tale signs of abuse and wondered how I could have missed them. They were obvious. I felt the guilt of not helping her sooner.

After Livia spoke to her, Willow's face hardened with resolve. She looked at Devon next to her who nodded. The bond between brother and sister seemed to have solidified in a few moments and I knew that they were going to support each other no matter what.

"Are the Hunters and Warriors that were still loyal to Sam all taken care of?" Willow asked in a commanding voice I had never heard from her.

"Yes, Alpha. They are all dead. None of them would admit defeat so we were forced to kill every on of them." one of the Moonstone pack warriors replied respect
