Itzael’s POV

TINATAPOS ko na yung mga dapat kong tapusin na papeles dito sa opisina sa trabaho. I'm not in the mood again.

I haven’t been home for three days because of the argument Martina and I had. Nagpasya akong doon muna tumuloy sa bungalow kong bahay, doon ako tumatambay kapag gusto kong mapag-isa at makapag-isip ng tama. Walang ibang nakakaalam non, ako lang.

Nang matapos ako sa ginagawa ko ay dumiretso akong office ni Dad para ibigay lahat ng papeles na natapos kong pirmahan.

“Dad, pwede ba mag day-off muna ako?”hiling ko kay Dad.

Nilingon ako ni Dad at hininto ang ginagawa dahil sa sinabi ko. “Why?”he asked me while frowning.

“I'm not feeling well,”matipid kong sagot.

Dad suddenly stood up from his swivel chair and walked over to me, then touched my neck and forehead to check if I had a fever.

“But you’re not even warm?”Dad said in confusion.

“Do I really need to be sick just to say that I’m not okay?”I reasoned. “Please, just let me take a leave,”I sighed.
