LOGINKIERAN'S POV:
My grandmother has never stopped pestering me about getting married. I didn't want to get married because of the curse.
I am only allowed to marry someone that I don't love. But my grandmother doesn't know about it, in fact only me and the wizard knew about this.
I lost my first love because of this curse. I vowed not to get married again, but my grandmother won't let me breathe in peace.
Just a few months ago, my trusted wizard told me that there was a way for the curse to be lifted off my shoulders.
He said the last descendant of the dragon lineage existed and she is the only one that can save me from the curse.
He didn't tell me the particular person that it was, but he said the person in question has a unique and special scent that no werewolf has.
He also mentioned the family that I can find this person. I gathered information about the family, especially the two daughters.
Jade is timid, while Selene bullies her. And Jade is the one that comes from the dragon lineage, this means that there is a misunderstanding about their relationship.
Though it's not Jade that I proposed marriage to but she's the one that I want because she would be my saviour.
Though I don't understand how a timid girl like her who allows others to trample on her can be my saviour.
She is so ordinary, just like a mundane person.
Since she's my bride now, I won't let anyone bully her because it would be a slap to my face.
As for her family that bullied her all these while, I will punish them so slowly and painfully.
Jade hasn't even looked at me for once due to fear. She has a lot to learn if she must survive in this world.
Even when her family accused her of kidnapping her sister, she took the blame. I got so irritated with the way she let others bully her, not that I care but I won't let her act so timid in public because if she does, it would affect my reputation.
“My wife would be the one to decide your punishment for lying against her. And you, wifey, you better think of a befitting punishment for her, if I am not satisfied with the punishment that you chose for her, then I will punish you instead and let her go”.
“Please my lord, do not punish my child, punish me instead”. Her mother pleaded for her but that made me angry.
“Don't worry, the three of you would receive your punishment simultaneously and my wife would be the one to decide the punishment for you”.
I watched Jade as she played with her fingers because of fear.
“If you don't decide for them, then I will sever their head from their bodies within a second”. My threat got to her immediately.
“Jade, my child please say something, don't let us die please”.Mr Ashford said with panic on his face.
“Please Jade, we are the only family that you have, if we all die, your conscience would definitely blame you”. Selene, her sister said with tears in her eyes.
“If you were given this opportunity to decide my punishment Selene, what punishment would you give me? And you better don't lie because I know what you are capable of”. I liked the smirk displayed on her face as she looked at Selene.
“I…I… I will ask for you to be flogged”. Selene replied.
“Flogged with what? And how many strokes?”. My bride is quite smart, she wants to give Selene the taste of her own medicine. I sat down to watch the drama unfold.
“I will ask for them to flog you with a whip…until you lose consciousness”. She stuttered and I saw the smile displayed on my bride's face, she was really enjoying herself.
That's exactly how I want my people to be, fearless and ruthless.
“You omitted something Selene, let me tell you what you omitted, you would also tell them to add some chilly on the whip, am I right?”. She asked with a smirk and Selene's face turned very dark.
“You are courting death by staring at my wife with that kind of facial expression”. I said to Selene who changed her facial expression immediately to something more friendly.
“My lord, Selene has decided her punishment, I want her to be whipped with chilly on it, until she falls unconscious”. She turned to me with her head lowered.
“Alright, what about the rest?”. I asked her.
“Their wolves should be taken away from them, for at least a year. Mother and father, you had my wolf taken away from me from childhood till now, I only asked for your wolves to be taken away from you for a year, am I not kind enough?”. She asked with a smirk displayed on her face.
Her wolf was taken away? No wonder she's this weak and timid, I will restore her wolf back to her, but I will do it secretly.
“Jade, my child, please reconsider, it's only servants that don't have their wolf with them, do you want us to live like servants?”. The mother cried out and begged Jade at her feet.
“You are not worthy to touch my wife like that and if in the future you people give my wife a hard time, I will end your lives”.
I walked to them and unleashed my powers on them, their wolves were withdrawn at once. I also restored Jade’s own wolf.
I called the guards for Selene.
“You heard what my wife said, flog her until she falls unconscious, and you two can leave, don't stay there and irritate me”. I said to Mr Ashford and his wife and they left while Selene was screaming for Jade to help her but the guards dragged her out.
I walked closer to Jade but she kept on moving back with her head lowered. I got closer and closer until her back collided with the wall.
I trapped her with my hands and used my index finger to raise her chin up for her to look directly to my face.
“Do you want me to punish you?”. I asked and she shook her head.
“When you see me, don't act timid in front of me, if not, I will punish you severely. Now, look at me”. I commanded.
She slowly raised her head up to look at me. Her eyes widened but it disappeared almost immediately it appeared.
She is very beautiful but I can't replace Pearl with her. She is just my toy.
“Come with me, let's go and eat”.
When I got closer to her, I could sense that special scent. I almost devoured her. Her scent is like a drug to me.
We settled on the dining table to eat, I watched her as she picked up her food with a fork. I can see she wasn't comfortable around me at all.
I decided to leave the dining table to see if she would eat freely.
“I will be back shortly, you can continue eating your food”.
I watched her behind the pillar, from picking her food to eating like a hurry wolf.
I didn't come back again to eat. I left the Villa and came back in the evening. My grandmother called me to tell me that she won't be coming over anymore.
I got to the villa late at night, because I didn't want to see her by the time I arrived.
As soon as I got in, I caught her scent, my primal instincts took over. I could feel my wolf stirring inside.
I followed the scent until I found her huddled in a corner inside the bedroom, shaking and panting with desire.
She was in the midst of her first heat. I could see the desire and desperation in her eyes as she looked up to me.
I turned my back on her and was about to leave before I did something stupid, but her voice rang out and made me stop in my tracks.
“Please help me”. That was all it took for me to lose my sanity.
I got to her side within a second and started kissing her like my life depended on it.
She tasted so good, her scent filled my senses as I dived into the ocean of no return.
JADE’S POVA month had passed since the war ended. And since my Dad died. The scars of battle were slowly healing, both on the land and in our hearts. The villa was quieter now and also peaceful. But today wasn’t about sorrow.Today was about grand peace.I stood by the garden balcony, looking at the sky painted with soft gold and pink. The flowers were finally blooming again. Kieran’s arms wrapped gently around me from behind.“Still thinking about him?” he asked softly.I nodded. “I miss Father every day.”Kieran kissed the side of my neck. “He’s watching us, Jade. I can feel it.”Before I could reply, I heard footsteps and laughter coming from the front gate. Selene and Gina had arrived with their parents. She told me yesterday that she would be coming with them.Kieran smiled faintly. “Looks like we have visitors.”We walked to meet them. Selene’s mother was already in tears before she even reached me.“Jade,” she said softly, holding her hands together, “we came to ask for your
KIERAN’S POVMy claws dug into the ground as I faced Ariel. Every breath I took came out as a growl. She stood before me, her eyes glowing like cold fire, her black wings spread wide. “You’ve lost everything, Kieran,” she sneered. “Even your beloved Jade.”At her words, a deep rage tore through my chest. My wolf roared, and lightning cracked across the sky.“I’ll make you pay for everything you’ve done!” I shouted, my voice trembling with fury.Ariel raised her hand and hurled a storm of black energy at me. I blocked it with my wings, but the force sent me crashing through the ruined pillars. The ground shook when I landed. She laughed. “You’re strong, but you fight with your heart. That’s why you’ll always lose.”I stood again, my body burning with power. “No, Ariel. You’re wrong.” I glared at her, my eyes glowing gold. “Love makes me stronger.”Before she could reply, I lunged forward. My claws slashed through her shield, and she staggered backward. She screamed, dark fire spilling
METATRON'S POV:The battlefield had fallen into chaos, steel clashing, beasts roaring, and lightning splitting the blood-red sky. But all of it faded from my mind the moment I saw my daughter's lifeless body on the ground. She lay motionless on the ground, her body covered in blood, her face pale and serene as if she were only sleeping. For a moment, I couldn’t move. I couldn’t breathe. My knees hit the ground before I realized I’d fallen. “No…” My voice cracked like thunder. “No, no, no!”I gathered her lifeless body in my arms. Her hair slipped through my fingers, soft and cold. I pressed my forehead against hers, trying to feel her soul but there was nothing.“Jade,” I whispered, shaking her gently. “Wake up, my child… please.”But silence answered me.All around me, the battle still raged. Kieran’s roar shook the heavens, his three beasts, had merged into one monstrous form. His crimson eyes burned with fury as he faced Ariel.“Jade!” Lotus’s voice broke beside me. She stumbled to
JADES’S POVThe storm came without mercy.Thunder tore through the heavens, shaking the villa’s crystal walls until chandeliers crashed to the floor. One moment, laughter filled the air; the next, screams echoed as shadows slithered in from the windows like living smoke. She and Melanie hovered above the courtyard, their robes fluttering like torn banners, eyes glowing red. Lightning danced behind them, carving their silhouettes into the night.Fear spread through the crowd like wildfire. The guests, the werewolves and the nobles scattered in panic. The scent of burning magic filled the air.I turned to Kieran. “Get Manuel out of here!”He nodded sharply and barked orders. “Elric, take the boy! Protect him with your life!”As Elric rushed Manuel toward the west wing, Ariel landed gracefully, her smile wicked.Beside her, Melanie mirrored the expression, eyes gleaming with the thrill of destruction.“Well,” Ariel said, sitting on a fallen throne like a queen in ruins, “aren’t you going
LOTUS POV:During the reunion, I noticed the sadness in Jade's face when Kieran mentioned her son, Manuel. I don't want my sister to be sad anymore, I made up my mind to give her what she wanted the most and that's to see her son normal again. It had been years, centuries even, but seeing Jade and Mabel again filled my heart with a joy I never thought I’d feel again. My sisters. My blood. When everyone went back inside, I wanted to talk to Jade, so she took me to the garden, the grass brushed against our feet as we walked.“You’re quiet,” I said softly.Jade forced a smile. “I’m just… thinking.”I tilted my head. “About Manuel, right?”She looked at me, startled. “You noticed?”I chuckled lightly. “You forget, sister. I can feel emotions as easily as you breathe.”Jade sighed, running her fingers through her hair. “He’s in so much pain, Lotus. I see him, and I just…” her voice broke. “I wish I could fix everything.”I touched her arm gently. “Don’t worry, Jade. By tomorrow morning, y
SELENE'S POV The sun was warm on my skin as Gina and I strolled through the park. Her laughter echoed through the air, light and pure, chasing away the shadows of my thoughts. For once, everything felt peaceful. Just me and my daughter, living like normal people.“Mommy, push me higher!” Gina called from the swing, her small hands gripping the chains.I smiled. “Hold tight, sweetheart.” I gave the swing a gentle push, watching her hair dance in the wind. Her giggles filled my heart with warmth I hadn’t felt in years. That’s when I saw a familiar figure.Lucian He was standing by the fence, hands in his pockets, wearing that calm smile that always managed to make my chest tighten.“Lucian?” I called, surprised. He looked up and smiled wider. “Hey, Selene. I was just passing by and saw you two. Didn’t expect to find you here.”I rolled my eyes playfully. “You always seem to ‘just pass by’ wherever I am.”He chuckled, walking closer. “Maybe it’s fate.”I ignored the heat that rose to
