"Mom, what the fuck is going on? Why the hell is he here?" Vincent bellows, stepping forward and mom's quick to move in front of Dad– shielding him from the fierce gaze of her son.
"You need to calm down, Vincent. " Mom speaks calmly and Vincent scoffs, "Calm down? You expect me to fúcking calm down at the sight of that man? What the hell are you doing, Vanessa?"
"He's your father, Vincent and he's—"
"Oh, God. " Vincent groans, turning away from her and she looks towards me with apologetic eyes.
She lied. My mother lied to me. Her boyfriend isn't some fúcking man from back in the day, it's the same fucking man who left her broken and hurt. Her boyfriend is my dad.

ASHLEY. I wake up to Sinclair's head resting heavily on my stomach with his arms wrapped around me in a possessive grip that brings a smile to my face. I push my hand to his head and coil my fingers through his curls, cackling when he lifts his head slightly before dropping it and turning his face to the other side. The smile on my face is quick to be replaced with a frown at the remembrance of how my dad showed up and ruined Christmas for my family before it even started. Now, Vincent is nowhere to be found on Christmas Eve. My irritation for Ben grows by the second, rather than lessens with each thought that crosses my mind, and I find it annoyingly difficult to understand my mother. "Ashley. " I jump in fright; my eyes wide as I meet Arabella's gaze. She's standing beside the bed with a blank face and her hands by her side.

ASHLEY. "You're here?" Mom has a wide smile on her face as she leans against the door, and I nod with a small smile of mine. "We are. Can you let us in at least, Vanessa? It's so fucking cold. We all walk inside the house and I rub my palms against each other as Sinclair grabs the boxes from me and leaves them next to the ones Vanessa prepared. "Vincent isn't here?" Mom asks, and I turn to look at her. Sadness washes over her face as I slowly shake my head, but she's quick to cover it with a smile. "That's okay. I'm glad you guys are here. I thought I was going to spend Christmas alone. " "I wouldn't have let that happen, you know. " I tell her and she nods, spreading her arms. " I assure her and she smiles before lifting her hand to her belly; her baby bump is now obvious and gives the perfect touch to the bride. "What if they gossip about the pregnancy, Ashley? What if they scorn us for it?" She mumbles with eyes full of worry, and I shake my head. "No, they will not do that. This is your wedding, Lillian, not theirs. Who cares if the bride is pregnant on the big day? It makes everything so fucking perfect to me. " I shrug. Lillian chuckles. "Thank you, Ashley. Thank you all for every single reader who followed from the beginning up to this moment. SIN has officially ended and I still find it a bit difficult to believe it myself.
