Paul's POV:

Jayson words sends a shiver down their ribs and the fear started to become more evident on their faces, blood started to rush off from their body, leaving them completely pale.

The three wolves were still kneeling before me, quaking like leaves caught in a storm. Panic etched deep lines into their faces, eyes filled with tears and glistening with fear.

These new words and the fear that now no matter what they are going to do, they won't be able to save themselves from the punishment that I have just given to them.

And this was exactly what I wanted, as everything was going perfectly according to my plan and there was nothing that could stop me from achieving what I wanted.

With satisfaction, I placed my gaze on the three of them.

Their mouths fumbled over each other’s words, desperate to avoid their punishment anyhow.

And one of them finally gathered the courage to plea;

“Alpha! Please, Alpha! .We were wrong… we were foolish! We deserve punishment, but show us some mercy,

Paul's POV: The servant's hurried footsteps could be heard echoing inside the throne room moments before he burst in, eyes wide with panic. "Alpha! Alpha, the Luna has sent us for you. Her health… it’s worsening again! She–”That was all I was able to hear. The fear of something happening to her was enough to clench my heart tightly in its claws and hearing the full sentence about her not being well was something that I wasn't capable of doing in any circumstances. No matter how strong and brave I was, she has started to become my weakness the day I first saw her and now when she has full control of my heart completely wrapped around her fingers, then how can someone still assume that I still have left with the courage to hear about something happening to her, when she isn't even standing in front of me.But I can't blame anyone for it, because it was all my fault, when I was already feeling a little uneasy I should have listened to my heart and not left her alone. The fear was mak

1 month ago, Katrine’s POV:“Jonas, enough!" I lashed out, pouring all my anger and frustration into my voice. "I have warned you, don't use Lexie to weaken my resolve. You can't manipulate me with her. I trust her… with my heart, with my soul! She would never—" But my words died as I saw his expression. That arrogant tilt of his chin, the cruel amusement in his eyes; this wasn't just arrogance that came with confidence, but the look of someone who knew something I didn't. "Would you still stand so tall on your high horse if I showed you proof about Lexie?" The noose of dread tightened around my throat, but I forced my gaze to meet his, refusing to let him see how much his words rattled me. “What proof?” I demanded, my tone sharper than I felt.Jonas’s smirk widened as he pulled out his phone. I bit back a curse, watching his fingers swipe across the screen. My mind raced, thinking how much easier it would be to escape if I could just get my hands on that damn device. But all t

1 month ago, Katrine's POV:The ground titled under my feet, pulling me down as if the earth itself had decided to swallow me whole. I hit the rough ground, and my knees burned with pain, my eyes brimming with the unshed tears of rage and betrayal. Jonas didn’t even move a single muscle. He stood above me, watching with that cold, detached look before he barked out his orders. “Guards! Quick!” Within moments, four pairs of boots closed around me, and rough hands grabbed me by my arms to lift me upright like a ragdoll. I jerked weakly against their grip, but my limbs were too heavy to be of any use. My strength was gone. Jonas scoffed coldly.“Before anything else, I think I should teach you when to accept defeat.”I bared my teeth in a snarl. ‘You don't have to teach me anything! Because I'm still not going to stay in your pack, at your mercy—" He looked me up and down with an, unimpressed look on his face. “Are you sure you’re a wolf? You look more like a wildcat to me.”

It had been four days since Abby received that strange note. And she had spent four restless nights in this same room, each one worse than the last. Right now, as the clock in her room flashed 4:30 , she had woken herself up with a scream once again. It took Abby a few minutes to understand where she was… her skin was clammy with sweat, her chest rising and falling in shallow breaths. Her blanket was twisted around her legs, and the image from the nightmare was still fresh in her vision; the murky water under the dense fog, icy cold hands wrapped around her ankle, something inhuman pulling her down into a lake… That monster’s grip had felt too real. The door creaked open suddenly, and her mother appeared, draping a shawl over her shoulders and a mask of concern over her fearful features. “Is everything okay, dear?” She asked gently, stepping into the room with cautious feet.Abby blinked, one thing had suddenly become clear in her mind: she couldn't tell her. She couldn’t tell h

Abby opened her eyes after closing them to rest for just a few minutes more, only to find her phone screen glowing faintly and displaying the time as 9:00 AM. She sat up with a jerk– she was supposed to be at the bakery an entire half hour ago, reporting for her first day there. This was the job she had managed to bag, after trying hard to convince her mother that it was the perfect way to prove they could stay in this pack that she could help run the household while working part-time. And yet, here she was… with her face covered in cold sweat, shivering under her blanket, still in bed.She didn’t remember the exact details this new dream; only flashes of darkness and something dragging her down. She didn't need to remember anything to know that it was a new nightmare that had woken her up.Her brows pulled together in irritation as she threw the covers off and stood up with a huff, muttering under her breath and stomping towards the bathroom to vent out her anger. “Great! Abby's POV:I didn’t know how many hours had passed… or maybe days?Maybe years. I wouldn't even be sure if I was alive anymore, if not for the pain that kept reminding me. My throat was dry to the point where every single breath felt like I was inhaling fire. My tongue was swollen, sticking to the roof of my mouth, and the skin on my lips had cracked so badly that I tasted blood every time I tried to speak. My stomach had stopped growling two days ago, giving up on the hope that I was ever going to get something to eat. There was just a sharp and hollow ache where my stomach used to be, and the horrible feeling of bile rushing up my throat.I had no food… no water. And absolutely no idea who had taken me, or why.If they had kidnapped me for money, or even if they wanted to keep me as a prisoner… wouldn't it be important to keep me alive first? But these people didn't seem to care about it at all. Since the day they had dumped me inside this stinking dungeon, I had seen my kidna

Jonas’ POV, 2 weeks ago:It was close to midnight when repeated knocks at my door shattered the silence. I lifted the arm I had draped over my tired eyes.“Come in!”The door opened with a soft creak. A guard stepped in and bowed.“Sorry to disturb your sleep, Chief, but… uh, she tried to run away again.”I sighed and sat up on the edge of the bed, shaking my head. Not that I'd been sleeping anyway. “How far?" “She made it within two hundred metres of the boundary this time, before we caught her on patrol.”I got to my feet and walked towards the window, placing both hands on the wooden sill. The moon hung low in the sky, full and cold and distant, watching everything and saying nothing.I kept my back to him as I asked, “How many men?”There was a pause, as if he didn’t understand the reason behind this question. “Th-three,” he said finally. “She knocked down two, and was trying to strangle the third when we spotted her.”My lips twitched.“Good.”Her stamina was improving. Abby's POV: I woke up to cold water splashing against my face, stinging my cracked lips and soaking through the rags clinging to my skin. My head pounded like a drum, and I was faintly aware that someone was shaking me. “Wake up, or—"A hand raised, ready to strike me and just as suddenly, I discovered my ability to speak again. “I’m awake! I’m awake!” I said quickly, breath hitching in panic. My eyes shot open and the light burned, but I blinked furiously, trying to focus. There was something about the ache in my face that told me this wasn't the first slap. My memory was foggy, but the throb in my bones was too familiar.I cursed him in my heart—coward. Kicking someone already half-dead.But then… something changed.Beyond the bars, I saw a silhouette—tall, broad. His face wasn't covered like the others. The moment my blurry gaze landed on him, my breath caught.I… I knew him.I recognized him.I sat up, or at least tried to. My body trembled from the effort, but I needed to see

Lexie's POV:It was finally time to leave our little bubble of paradise. Paul and I had spent every second of the past week wrapped up in each other, tangled in white sheets and sun kissed sand, laughing, teasing, dancing under moonlight. But now, this trip back home was supposed to be the quiet end to a perfect honeymoon, with my memories filled with yacht rides, ocean breeze and lazy afternoons. We had been driving for hours when we spotted a lonely convenience store in the middle of nowhere– the paint outside was chipping, the neon sign was turned on and flickering even in the evening. I raised my gaze, shielding my eyes with my hand. “One last pit stop?”Paul murmured, kissing my knuckles before pulling into the gravel lot. “Elrick’s Go_ds” was written in peeling red letters. One of the letters was missing, but the location was still quite charming. “Want me to go?” I asked, unbuckling my seatbelt.Paul leaned across to kiss my cheek. “I’ll pump the gas. You grab the snac

Lexie’s POVThe world outside our window was still dark, but a hint of morning clung to the edges of the horizon. Paul's breathing was still ragged, his forehead damp against mine. We were tangled in the sheets, our bodies slick with sweat and love. His heartbeat thumped against my chest, strong and steady, as if it had finally found its rhythm. He brushed a kiss to my temple, his hand caressing my back slowly, fingers splayed like he was trying to memorize every inch of me. “You okay?” he whispered, voice low and hoarse.“Mmm,” I hummed, too blissed out to form words. I curled into his warmth, nuzzling his neck, where his scent still lingered. “I’ve never been better.”His fingers were soft as they traced idle circles into my lower back, and even though his body was spent, I could feel the way he still wanted to stay connected. He shifted after a moment, gently pulling out with a wince and a groan. I whined at the emptiness. He laughed softly and kissed my nose.“Come here, love…”

Lexie’s POV:The moment he sat inside the car, I leaned over, hooking my right leg over his thigh and kisser him with all I had. Paul was stunned for a few moments before he responded, his lips moving against mine for a few moments before I pulled back, bringing my lips near his ears, just like he had been teasing me all night. “You like when they call me Mrs. Paul, right? Then I'll show you what it's like to be your wife, daddy…”It didn't take us more than five minutes to reach our mansion, and it wasn't a surprise to me, since I had been straddling his lap all the way back. There was excitement, anticipation and a little bit of fear in Paul's eyes as I closed the door behind me. “Hi, husband…” I grinned, pushing him onto the plush chair by the window, the moonlight casting silver trails over his skin.“Hey, wife,” he murmured back, voice already darkening with need. His eyes burned into mine as I straddled him, my knees on either side of his strong thighs. I could feel the he

Lexie's POV:The southern Alpha’s estate was everything I imagined: ornate but not ostentatious, steeped in age-old tradition with ivy-covered walls, torch-lit gardens, and the scent of orange blossoms lingering in the warm evening air. Gold-lined lanterns floated in the courtyard pool as we arrived, and the staff greeted us with bows deep enough to impress even royalty from the North. Alpha Rian and Luna Alina stood at the top of the marble steps, radiating the composed elegance of true leadership. “Alpha Paul, Luna Lexie! Thank you for honouring us with your presence.”I gave a respectful nod, while Paul offered a grin that was both polite and perfectly confident. “We’re grateful for the invitation. It's been a beautiful week here.”Luna Alina gave me a knowing smile, eyes crinkling. “You both look like the holiday has been treating you very well.”Paul’s fingers brushed lightly against the small of my back. “Couldn’t be better!”He replied, and I bit back a smile. The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a beautiful golden glow over the southern territories. The yacht Paul had rented glided gently across the shimmering waves, anchored now just off the private cove they had claimed as their temporary paradise. Lexie leaned against the polished railing, the sea breeze toying with strands of her hair, her eyes half-lidded in peace as she watched the horizon stretch endlessly before them. This had quickly become her favorite time of the day… and the thought of leaving this place was beginning to bug her slowly. As if reading her mind, Paul emerged from the cabin, shirt unbuttoned, a drink in one hand and that irrepressible smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “There you are, Mrs. Paul!”His voice was bubbly and affectionate, the nickname rolling off his tongue like it belonged to her as much as the sea belonged to the sky.Lexie smiled, turning toward him. “You have been calling me that all week.”“And I’m never going to stop.” He handed he

Paul's POV:It was a Saturday afternoon, the kind that wrapped around your skin just right. The sun was warm on my shoulders, but the breeze kept her from sweating. The crisp air fluttered my skirt and teased my collarbone through the loose neckline of my t-shirt… well, Paul's t-shirt that I had declared as my own. Paul and I had wandered down to the market after breakfast, lazily strolling hand in hand past flower vendors, spice carts, and tables piled high with sun-ripened fruit. The market was buzzing with life; vendors calling out the sweetness of their fruit, kids tugging at their parents’ hands, and it lifted my mood even further. If this was how life was supposed to look like, I was finally starting to feel glad that I survived long enough to reach here. Bright red strawberries caught my eye, and I stopped at a wooden cart stacked high with plump, red berries, and my hand reached for one before I could stop myself. I pressed it between my fingers and it gave just slightly,

Lexie’s POV:I dropped the rose; I didn't need it anymore. My eyes followed the outline of his cock, stirring under the silky fabric.I bit my lip, breath catching slightly as I grazed my lips over the swelling ridges, making him grow harder with each light, teasing stroke. A pleased, throaty sound escaped his chest, and I pressed my palm against him. His hips moved instinctively, his eyes falling close due to pleasure as his lips parted with the hint of a moan.I leaned in and brushed my mouth over his chest. “Still feeling sleepy, my love?”“No, but… damn.”He rasped, voice low and rough, “that’s one hell of a way to be woken.”Slipping lower under the sheets.“If you like it, I have some more ideas…”He looked down at me, and the moment our eyes locked, something shifted. Heat surged between us like a spark to dry leaves. He rested back with a groan, one arm behind his head, completely surrendering.I kissed along his abdomen, moving lower, letting my hair fall around him as I s

Lexie's POV:The first light of morning spilled in soft golden beams through the open balcony doors, casting a gentle shimmer across the satin sheets. A salty breeze drifted in from the ocean, tugging at the gauzy white curtains like it wanted to be part of the moment. Somewhere outside, waves kissed the sand in their rhythmic hush, always moving, always returning.I opened my eyes slowly, blinking against the soft warmth of the sunlight. For the first time since our wedding last week, I had managed to wake before Paul. It felt strange, because every morning since we had arrived at this beach-facing mansion—our honeymoon escape from the world, he was the one to rouse me with soft kisses and teasing fingers. But today? Today I wanted to be the one who set the tone.I turned onto my side and let my gaze linger on him.Even asleep, Paul was all sharp lines and quiet strength, his bronzed skin glowing gold in the early light. The sheet had slipped down his torso during the night, reveali

  • Scar : the rejected Luna   106. Candlelight Dinner*

Lexie's POV:Dinner today was something special – that was all Paul had told me, and I was more than ready for whatever he had planned. The resort’s outdoor space had been transformed completely : our private balcony was adorned with tiny, flickering candles nestled in elegant holders, and a small canopy of sheer fabric had been set up, making the entire space glow with a warm, inviting light. The soft murmur of the waves in the distance seemed to chime with every heartbeat of ours. I was dressed in a simple, elegant dress that now clung to my body as the gentle night breeze started to flow. The sky had melted into shades of tangerine and indigo, and my husband was standing near the edge of the balcony, looking every bit the romantic dream with his sleeves rolled up. The golden light kissed his jawline as he stepped around me, his eyes warming the air between us. Delicate porcelain plates, sparkling cutlery, and tiny crystal glasses caught the light of the candles. He pulled out
