My pack duties

I went ahead to continue my daily activities. As an assistant physician of Sunshine Pack, my main responsibility was to assist the pack physician in taking care of the health needs of the pack members.

My day was usually filled with tasks such as checking the vital signs of patients, administering medications, treating wounds, and performing routine medical examinations. I loved my job, and I was passionate about providing the best care possible to the werewolf community.

As I was wrapping up my morning rounds, the pack physician, Dr. Grey, called me into her office.

"Good morning, Scarlett," she said as I entered the room. "I wanted to talk to you about something important."

"Of course, Dr. Grey," I replied, taking a seat across from her.

"I've been impressed with your work here at the pack, Scarlett. You have a great bedside manner and a natural talent for medicine," Dr. Grey said. "That's why I wanted to ask if you would consider taking on a more significant role within the pack's medical team."

I was surprised and thrilled by Dr. Grey's suggestion. "I would be honored to take on more responsibility, Dr. Grey," I said eagerly.

Dr. Grey smiled. "That's great to hear. I was thinking that we could start by having you lead the pack's health education program. It would involve educating our members on important health topics such as proper nutrition, exercise, and preventative care."

I felt my heart swell with excitement at the prospect of leading the health education program. "I would love that, Dr. Grey," I said. "Thank you for believing in me."

Dr. Grey nodded. "I see a lot of potential in you, Scarlett. You have the makings of an excellent physician, and I'm happy to help you grow and develop your skills."

I left Dr. Grey's office feeling invigorated and energized. The thought of leading the pack's health education program was thrilling, and I couldn't wait to get started.

As I made my way back to my rounds, I felt a deep sense of pride and purpose in my work. Being an assistant physician for the Sunshine Pack wasn't just a job for me; it was a calling. And I was grateful every day for the opportunity to serve my community in this way.

Adolph walked into his room, followed by Louis who was curious about what he had to say. As soon as they settled down, Louis asked, "So, what did you want to tell me before?"

"Well, I went to the cave to relax and clear my head. While I was there, I met a girl. Her name is Scarlett, and she's an omega."

Louis raised an eyebrow. "An omega? What were you doing talking to an omega?"

Adolph shook his head. "It doesn't matter. The important thing is that when I got back to my room, the moon goddess appeared to me and told me that Scarlett is my mate."

Louis stared at Adolph in disbelief. "What? The moon goddess appeared to you in your room?"

Adolph nodded. "Yes, she did."

Louis's eyes widened in surprise. " So the moon goddess told you she is your mate?"

You mean the same mate you've been trying to speak with in your dream but haven't seen."

"Yes, she is the same person," Adolph replied.

"Thank the goddess you have met her finally."

"So she is an… Omega?

Wow, are you ready to accept her?" Louis enquired.

"I am ready to accept her. I have never heard of the goddess appearing to someone and telling them who their mate is. That means Scarlett is a special one, so I have no choice but to accept. She might have a great role to play in my life, and you…know my rare illness." Adolph replied.

That's a big deal, Adolph. What are you going to do?"

Adolph shrugged. "I don't know. I tried to communicate with her in my dream like before but she was too scared to accept me because I'm an alpha. Maybe she has been rejected by her alpha before."

Louis nodded slowly. "I understand. It's not easy for omegas to trust alphas. But if she's your mate, you need to figure out a way to make her feel safe with you."

Adolph sighed. "I know. But how do I do that?"

Louis thought for a moment. "Maybe you could try talking to her again, but this time, be more gentle and understanding. Show her that you're not like other alphas who only care about power and control."

Adolph nodded. "That's a good idea. I'll try that. Thanks, Louis."

Louis smiled. "Of course, Adolph. That's what friends are for."

When I  got home from work, I felt tired. Being an assistant physician is not easy but since I enjoy doing it, no matter how tired I am, I won't stop doing the work of humanity.

I went ahead to the kitchen to check whether I can make do with the leftover food in the kitchen.

I dished the leftovers and went back to my room, there is this particular bag I have been trying to weave. I took it out and continued weaving while eating simultaneously.

When I finished eating, I packed my plate to the kitchen to wash.

After I was done, I tried to clean the room, lay my bed, and continued weaving the bag.

I loved the outcome of the bag that I made. I took out my medical tools from my old bag and kept them in the new one.

I dropped the bag on my chair and sat on my bed.

I wasn't feeling sleepy so I decided to kneel on my bed and check outside through my windows to see how beautiful the stars were tonight. The galaxy of stars looks as beautiful as they always do. The view at night is something that calms my nerves and makes me happy.

After watching the stars for a while, I relaxed on my bed to sleep and wished to find myself in a nice dream but as usual, they were always nightmares.
