تسجيل الدخولNaomi has spent her entire life being unwanted. Born a twin but treated like a mistake, she grew up in the shadow of a sister who was everything she wasn’t, strong, loved, and chosen. While her pack worshipped the ground her twin walked on, Naomi was nothing more than the wolfless disappointment they wished had never been born. Until the night she decides she’s had enough. But fate isn’t done with her yet. On the edge of death, her wolf awakens and with it, the bond she has waited her whole life for. A mate. Hope blooms for the first time… only to be brutally crushed. Before the entire pack, her mate rejected her coldly, cruelly, and without any hesitation. “Did you really think the Moon Goddess would bless me with something as useless as you?” Humiliated, broken and destroyed, Naomi thinks that’s the end of her story. She’s wrong. Because fate has a twisted sense of humor. She is given a second mate. Not just any wolf… but the Lycan King himself. A ruler feared across kingdoms. A man drenched in power, danger, and blood. And worst of all? He is her ex-mate’s father. “You carry my mark now,” the Lycan King says, his voice dark with promise. “And I do not reject what is mine.” But behind his claim lies something far more dangerous than rejection. Secrets, and extremely dark ones. The kind that could destroy not just Naomi… but everything she thought she knew about fate, mates, and herself. Because this time, she isn’t just chosen. She’s entangled in something far more deadly.

Naomi's POV Death. It was the one thing I had so badly wished for at that moment. I couldn't take it anymore and was done with the pathetic thing that was supposed to be a life. "Such a filthy anomaly." "Traitor!!" "She's more than a witch. Let her burn!!" The words were being screamed at me from every single direction. They kept bouncing off the thick walls, hitting me like physical blows. I found it funny, in a way. Just yesterday, I had been the invisible girl whose seat was at the back of the class. I was so careful that I had learned to control my breathing so it wouldn't bother others. Today, however, I was the Pack's public enemy number one. All of this happened because of a really big, poisonous lie. They thought I had tried to kill Helena. I looked at the crowd of students circling me like a pack of actual wolves, which, to be fair, almost all of them were. "Get her," someone yelled. "Shred the clothes off her back," another voice snarled. "Let’s see what a monster like her looks like without the uniform." I squeezed my eyes shut for a second, waiting for the first claw to dig in. I was twenty-one and was supposed to be as strong as the others. I was supposed to have a wolf of my own to fight back with. Instead, I was just Naomi. A wolf-less, mate-less thing currently about to be turned into human confetti in the middle of the school yard. The shouting stopped so suddenly that I couldn't help but feel suspicious. "Everyone, please! Stop this at once!" I opened my eyes and felt a wave of genuine nausea that had nothing to do with being bullied. There she was. Helena. The bitch looked like a literal angel, her blonde hair caught in the wind and her eyes wide and full of fake concern. All my life, I had never hated a living thing, regardless of how badly they treated me. Helena, however, was a solid exception. Wolves like her deserved to rot in hell. To the rest of the pack, she was the darling, the girl who could do no wrong. To me, she was the monster who had spent the last decade pulling the strings of my misery. I had only found out the truth recently, but once you saw the devil without the mask, you couldn't unsee it. She was the reason my parents were gone. She was the reason I was an outcast, and she was definitely the reason everyone thought I had tried to murder her that morning. "Naomi, honey," Helena said, her voice trembling with just the right amount of emotion. "Please, just tell them you didn’t mean it. Tell them you were confused. I promise, I’ll forgive you. I’ll make them stop." She reached out a hand. Even her fingers were perfect. The crowd groaned in admiration. "She’s so merciful," I heard someone whisper. "How can Naomi be so cruel to her?" I looked at that hand. Then, I looked up at Helena’s face. She was doing a great job with the watery eyes, but I could see the coldness behind them. She wanted me to crawl. She wanted me to take her hand so she could play the hero while I remained the pathetic charity case. "Get your hand away from me," I said. My voice was raspy, but I meant every word. The courtyard went silent. Even the wind seemed to stop for a minute. "Naomi, I’m trying to help you," Helena whispered, leaning in just enough so the others couldn't hear her. "Don’t be stupid. You have nothing. Just play along." I felt a heat of blinding rage spread across my chest. How fucking dare this bitch? I didn't bother thinking anything through. Things couldn't get worse anyway. I reached out and shoved her with every strength I had left. But Helena was a pro. She stumbled back like I had hit her with a truck, letting out a soft, pathetic gasp as she fell onto the grass. The atmosphere turned lethal. "You bitch!" One of the guys stepped forward. It was Jax, one of Helena’s many Alpha suitors. He was massive, all muscle and protective rage, and his eyes were completely black. He didn't even use words; he just swung at me. The first punch caught me in the stomach, knocking every single bit of air out of my lungs. I hit the dirt hard, my knees scraping against the gravel. I tried to scramble away, but a heavy boot landed on my shoulder, pinning me down. "How dare you touch her," Jax snarled, his voice sounding more like a growl than a human sentence. "After everything she’s done for you? You’re a parasite, Naomi. You don’t deserve to breathe the same air as her." I was curled in a ball, trying to protect my head as fists and boots found their marks. I could feel the skin on my face splitting open, and the taste of blood in my mouth was thick and warm. "Stop, Jax, please," Helena cried out, but she didn't move a muscle to actually stop him. I looked through the gaps in my fingers, my vision blurring. Helena was standing just a few feet away, watching the whole thing. The crowd was cheering, caught up in the justice of it all. For a split second, Helena’s gaze met mine. She wasn't crying anymore. Her eyes were still wet, but her mouth was doing something different. Her lips curved into a tiny smirk. It was the look of someone who had just won the lottery. She was enjoying this, watching me get broken into pieces and loving every second of it. Jax gave me one final kick to the ribs that made me see white spots, and then he finally stepped back, huffing like a madman. "Come on, Helena," he said, his voice suddenly soft as he turned to her. "You shouldn't have to see this trash. Let’s get you inside." Helena let him pull her up, leaning into his chest like she was too weak to stand on her own. She looked back at me one last time, that fake pity plastered back on her face. "I’m so sorry, Naomi," she sobbed. "I tried." They all walked away. The entire school left me lying there in the mud. I tried to move, but my body felt like it was made of lead. Every breath was a struggle, and I could feel the cold mud soaking into my clothes. I was twenty-one years old. In this world, that was the end of the line. If you had not shifted by your twenty-first birthday, you were an anomaly, a dud. Tomorrow was graduation. The rules of the BlackRose Academy were simple: if you didn't have a wolf and didn't have a mate by graduation, you were out. You would have zero pack protection, no money, and no future; you were just a stray. I was lying there, coughing up blood and feeling the weight of the entire world on my chest. I had no wolf. My supposed mate was probably out there somewhere, grossed out by the very idea of me. Now, I was the pack pariah. I looked up at the dark sky, the rain starting to fall as if sharing my sadness. I had less than twenty-four hours to figure out how to survive. But as I closed my eyes, listening to the distant laughter from the dorms, I realized the truth. I was broken. I was bleeding. And I had absolutely no way out.Chapter 5Naomi's POVThe banquet hall was a sea of gold to say the least. I felt awfully small and almost non-existent. And with how underdressed I was? Yeah, I was this close to bolting. I was standing near the buffet table, my fingers trembling as I held a glass of water I was too nauseous to drink. Then, the room went quiet.Liam stepped into the center of the floor. He looked like a god.His dark suit was tailored to perfection, and his presence was so commanding that the Alphas of our pack actually bowed their heads. My wolf was screaming now, a frantic, joyous sound. Mate. Go to him. He’s going to fix this.I took a step forward, my heart in my throat. I was imagining the look of recognition in his eyes, the way he would pull me away from the whispers and tell everyone that I belonged to him.Liam’s eyes found mine, and for a second, I thought it was happening. But his gaze wasn't warm. It was far from that. "Everyone!" Liam’s cold voice carried to every corner of the room.
Chapter 4Naomi's POVThe classroom was as busy as a fucking beehive. Normally, everyone was trying to cram for the final theory exams or talking about who was going to get which pack placement, but today was different. The air felt heavier than it did when preparing for a storm or something. I was sitting in my usual spot, but I couldn't stop my heart from doing gymnastics in my chest.Every time the door creaked open, I sat up a little straighter. I had tried to fix my hair with a little water from the bathroom sink and had tucked the dirtiest parts of my shirt under my sweater.I wanted to at the very least look like someone worth claiming. Then, the Dean walked in, and the room went dead silent. He wasn't alone.Trailing behind him was the man from the roof. Up close, without the haze of a concussion or the dark of the night, he was almost painful to look at.He was tall, built like a predator, and carried himself with the kind of effortless power that made everyone else in the r
Chapter 3Naomi's POVThe first thing I noticed upon waking up was that the world was way too loud. The hum of the fluorescent lights above me sounded like a swarm of angry bees, and the smell of antiseptic was so strong it actually made my eyes water. Then, the memory hit me: the roof, the fall, those deep, impossible blue eyes.I bolted upright, and a sharp pain flared in my side, reminding me that Jax had basically used my ribs as a drum kit yesterday. I didn't care.I scanned the room, but the only person there was a nurse at a desk, typing away and looking bored out of her mind."You’re awake," she said, not even looking up. "Lie back down, Naomi. You’ve got a concussion and three cracked ribs. You’re lucky to be alive.""Where is he?" I asked, my voice sounding like I had been swallowing sandpaper all night. "The man. The one who brought me here."The nurse finally looked at me, raising a skeptical eyebrow. "Nobody brought you here, honey. One of the night guards found you pas
Chapter 2Naomi's POVPain was a funny thing. After a while, it stopped feeling like sharp stabs and started feeling like a heavy, wet blanket wrapped around my entire soul.I didn't know how long I had laid in that mud, but by the time I managed to roll onto my stomach and push myself up, the courtyard was empty. I could see the lights in the distance though. It was impossible to miss it with how brightly it was glowing, and the sound of music from the pre-graduation party was drifting over the grass. They were celebrating. They were having the time of their lives while I was here… bleeding.I dragged myself toward the north wing, my ribs screaming with every movement I took. I didn't want to go to the infirmary.Going there meant seeing the pity in the nurse’s eyes, or worse, seeing Helena there pretending to check on me. No, I had a different destination in mind.It took me forever to climb the stairs to the highest rooftop of the academy. My breath came in short, ragged gasps, a
