SHIMMA'S POV.

The cab pulled up in front of my house. I quickly paid the driver before stepping out of the car.

I glanced back to see if Mr. Mattias had followed me, but the road was clear. There was no sign of any car approaching.

I entered my house, closing the door behind me. I slowly walked to the living room, trying to replay the scene in my mind, but it still made no sense.

“I need to cool off. I really need a bath,” I whispered, my breath hitching in my throat as I made my way upstairs.

I stripped off all my clothes and headed straight to the bathroom. I turned on the shower, letting the water run over me from head to toe.

“Ughhh,” I groaned, feeling a wave of relief wash over me. But I soon got distracted by the sound of my doorbell.

I paused, waiting to hear it again. “Ding! Ding!” It rang for a second time.

I had just moved in here a month ago, and I barely had visitors. Could it be? No way!….

I quickly grabbed a white towel, rushing down the stairs.
