Chapter 26

I notice my neck burning, carefully running my fingers over the spot. Noticing that it is slightly wet and hot, like it’s on fire. My fingers are covered in blood, but it doesn’t feel like as if I am hurt, really odd, I could feel his mark on my neck and it makes me smile involuntarily.

“Do you know what’s going on?” I ask shaking my head to make sure I got a clear mind.

“No, I only know I am supposed to get back to the Castle.” He hastily walks in front of me but still checking that I am right behind him.

He stops me and pushes me against the wall pressing his lips on mine. I grab on to his hair nearly dropping my flowers in my other hand as I just want to hold him tight. He starts to play with our tongues and kissing his way back towards my neck, where he licks over his mark.

“Nearly healed already, this is my mark and soon I want to bear yours too.” He whispers in my ear before straighten himself an
