Gigi Pov

I strongly slammed the door as I left the library. Cindy was shocked by what I did so she suddenly approach me and asked me what happened.

"What happened, Gigi? Why did you look angry when you came out of your father's library? And then what happened to your cheek? Why is it red and you also have a crack on the side of your lips?" Cindy asked me confusedly. Concern was visible on her face as she caressed my cheek where my father's hard slap hit me.

"Let's talk inside my room," I said to her in a low voice instead of answering her questions immediately, then I secretly pointed to an area using my lips. Because I saw one of Shan's maid attendants peeking slightly while secretly listening to our conversation. The maid must have thought that I didn't see her when she hid behind the thick curtain.
