ELOISE'S POV.

If Klein had not given me that mind-blowing kiss in our bedroom before I went downstairs to face his mother, my day would have been completely ruined. I am still deeply hurt by the fact that he chose to take Jasmine to her house without a second thought. He didn't even bother taking a few seconds to consider how it would make me feel. The moment his mother mentioned the fact that it was his duty to do so, he instantly agreed and since then, I have been trying to understand why he's obliged to do that, but nothing makes sense to me and it's of no use trying to ask him because he is never going to give me the response I want.
