CHAPTER 50

Outside the torture chamber, Asahi was crying softly. The security door opened and the bulky guard threw Isabella at him.  He quickly caught her in his arms to break her staggering form. He looked at her worriedly. When he saw that there were no other bruises on her apart from the bruises on her wrists created by the people who handled her earlier in the day, Asahi was relieved.

"Asahi! Why are you doing this? I told you to call the master, not bring that boy. Rolph is going to kill us."

"Did they do anything to you? Did they?" Asahi turned Isabella around, trying to see if she was really alright."

"They didn't. But  what about what Rolph  will do to you?  To us? Asahi. You need to run. Leave the city."

"Don't worry about me. As long as you are fine, I am fine. Let's get out of here first."
