THE CITY lights shimmered through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Adam's penthouse bedroom, casting a gentle glow over the plush surroundings. The air was warm and heavy with the scent of passion as we lay intertwined on his bed, our bodies still humming with the echoes of our intimacy. Nestled in his arms, under the soft blanket, I felt an overwhelming sense of closeness and contentment.
