Chapter 4

Aiden's POV

I grasped Calithea's wrist to stop her from leaving, but she was able to dodge my attack. She removed my hand from her wrist, which confused me. Calithea was strong and rumors were real. She's a mystique woman!

“Don't touch me, dumbass!” She growled towards me and made my brows furrow.

“You sneak on us?” I asked her, thinking that she would catch us here.

“Sneak? The hell? Why would I do that?” She asked in her sarcastic tone. I'd love pestering this woman. 

“It's because you're obsessed with me, Calithea. Just tell me that you want me to do the same as what I did to this girl?” I was only mocking her, but her reaction was so priceless. She doesn't like my jokes.

“In your dreams!?” She mumbled and ran away from me. I mess my hair in annoyance. That woman is getting on my nerves and I couldn't explain why I react like that. She's a mystique woman and I don't like her ever since to be my mate, but Calithea has something which made me so confused. 

“Aiden, who's that woman?” I have almost forgotten that my fling was here. My mind is almost occupied with Calithea and I can't even fucking explain to myself why I think of her. 

“She's my mate,” I replied and started wearing my clothes back. Following her crosses my mind because I worry that she will tell my father about what she discovered. 

“Where are you going, Alpha?” The woman asked, and I turned my head towards her. I gave her my death glare. 

“You don't give a damn. Get up and leave my palace.” I mumbled, which made her cry. 

“That easily after you took advantage of me?” She asked which made me grit my teeth. 

“You agreed to sleep with me. I don't give a damn about you. Leave my place or I will burn you.” I hissed and it made her tremble. The woman got up from the bed and rushed in wearing her clothes. I didn't wait for her as I stepped out of the room. I'll start looking for Calithea. 

“Alpha Aiden, you have an appointment.” My beta appears in front of me, but I just wave my hand to tell him that I'll deal with it later. The only thing I'm thinking about currently is to find Calithea. I think I'm going crazy if I can't find her. This is maybe because she's my mate and her scent, damn, I want to smell it every second.

“Disregard that, beta. I'll be dealing with that once I find her.” My beta just nodded his head, responding to me. I keep going and attempt to scan her all over the palace. She's working here, and I'm certain that she was here. 

A smirk curled to my lips when I already found her. She was currently arranging the antique things of the palace and I thought she had already left. 

“Hi, there,” I mumbled and wrapped my hands around her waist. 

“What the hell are you doing?” She muttered and Calithea was about to flounder, but I had already cornered her. I slammed her against the wall with my hands on both of her sides. 

“Don't flounder, Calithea. You can't escape from me. Just don't keep trying…” I muttered in my husky tone. 

“Can you please let me go, Alpha? Why don't you return to your fling instead of disturbing the hell out of me?” She asked and sounded annoyed. I cannot stop myself from smirking because of her. 

Calithea.

Something was really with her that I can't explain. She's beautiful and hot, and everything about her made my cock eager. It's as if it's wanting her… Only her. 

“No, I won't. You are my mate, Calithea and you're supposed to be near me.” I mumbled, still staring into her hazel eyes. She's pretty and no doubt that. 

“Fine, Alpha Aiden, but please stop disturbing me when I'm at my work.” She mumbled and which made me let out a deep breath. 

“You know what, Calithea…” I paused my sentence first when I caressed her face. “You are beautiful, and your lips… It tastes like cherries.” I continued while biting my bottom lip. Calithea's mouth opened wide from what I uttered. I was only teasing her, but it seems like I wanted to taste her lips again. 

When I learned that Calithea was my chosen mate, my life became chaotic particularly, when I first saw her. I already could feel the bond with her and I'm certain that she was my mate. I've heard many things about her, and everyone called her mystique the first time she lost to our city. We attempted to find her origin, but we have no trace of it. 

“Stop teasing me, Aiden. It won't work. Just let me go because I have many things to do.” She uttered, but I just smirked and moved my face closer to her. Her breath smells so sweet and her lips, I wanted to take it. I wanted to own her and I have the right to do that because she's my mate. 

“Are you certain?” I asked in my smirking reaction. Calithea opened her mouth wide and I grabbed that to take her lips. I can't stop myself from smiling when she wraps her hands around my nape and lets me in. The way I kissed her and her taste differ from the women I have already kissed. She's a virgin and I could scent it. 

Calithea differs from them, and no wonder why I feel I'll be going crazy about her. I wanted to own her right here, but I should stop my desire. This is not the right place to do that. 

“Really? You cared about the place, Aiden? As far as I remember, you never choose the right place when you want to play with your flings.” My inner self uttered, and I'm certain that it was my wolf. I pushed Calithea away and messed my hair in annoyance. 

“Damn you, Aiden!” Calithea exclaimed and which made me turn my gaze in her direction. I was about to grab her waist when something happened that stopped me from doing that.
