Chapter 7

Calithea's POV

The next day, I woke up with my head aching and my body naked. Alpha Aiden was still next to me, so I couldn't stop to bite my bottom lip realizing what I had just done. However, I have no regrets that I gave myself to Aiden. He was my mate and also because I don't feel like resisting. I turned my head to my side and saw Aiden still sleeping next to me.

This man is so handsome and no doubt about that. However, I have no feelings for him and he does as well. Whatever we have now was because we are mates. I stared at Aiden for about one minute and then I decided to get up from the bed to change. But he pulled me back to the bed which made my chest bounce because of nervousness.

“Where do you think you're going, Calithea?” Aiden asked, so I turned my head to him. I even close my eyes before responding to him.

“I need to go home. This is not right, Aiden. I can't be your mate—” I wasn't able to finish what I wanted to say when Aiden never allowed me.

“I don't want to argue with you anymore regarding this, Calithea because we already talked about this the last time. You're my mate and you will be staying with me, remember?” A deep breath escaped from my throat as a sign of giving up.

“What is your next plan, Aiden?” I asked, so he lay back on his bed while looking at me. There was also a smirk forming on his lips which made my heart beat so fast inside of my chest.

“My next plan? Well, spending the whole day with my mate inside the room. What do you think we should do, huh?” I looked away when Aiden uttered those words which made my face redden. I was still embarrassed towards him and even now, I can't still imagine that I let him take my virginity from me.

“I-I have to go, Alpha Aiden because I still have work here inside the castle—” and once again, he never allowed me to continue what I was about to say.

“You're not working anymore as a slave of the castle, Calithea, because you are my mate. I don't want to hear you complaining about it and please don't wait for me to get mad. It is still so early in the morning, Calithea,” Aiden uttered and he even closed his eyes now.

“Aiden, I—” he grabbed my body which made me lay back to his side. I just bit my bottom lip and now trying to calm myself.

“I could smell your nervousness, Calithea, and would like to tell you that you should not be nervous. I was just Aiden who was your mate. Don't worry because I will never hurt you. There is no way I would do that to you.” Aiden uttered. A smile formed on my lips from what he said. But what makes my face flush is what Aiden did. He grabbed my hand and put it above his topless body. I could feel his hot body the moment that my hands lay on his stomach.

“A-Aiden…” I groaned out his name in utterance which made Aiden open his eyes just to look at me. My eyes were on his blue ocean eyes which can't prevent me from being captivated. He has perfect pairs of eyes that can make every woman attractive. Aiden's handsomeness is far from the men of this place. No one can ever exceed him.

But then I realized what I just did. I was praising Aiden in my mind which is not right.

“You're safe in my arms, Calithea, and swear that. Don't worry because I will take responsibility for what happened to us last night. I will never disregard you,” I was touched by what Aiden had told me. He seemed different from yesterday. I couldn't see the arrogant Aiden anymore from him. But I should not be comfortable. I know he was up to something and that's what I need to know. Aiden won't treat me like that for no reason.

However, what he said to me earlier was right. I could feel safe in his arms. It seems like I have almost forgotten all the struggles I encountered in my life being with him. We just started yet being together. Although I am a witch I can't foresee what will happen in our future. I could not tell what would be the ending of this.

“Thank you, Aiden, and don't worry because I will play my part with you,” I responded and after saying those words, I already closed my eyes. What Aiden did to my hair just felt so good which was the reason why I went back to sleep.

The moment that I woke up, I found out that it was already ten in the morning. Aiden wasn't by my side anymore and then I heard someone showering inside the bathroom. So, I grabbed the opportunity that Aiden was inside the bathroom. I put my clothes back on and slowly went out of the room to leave.

My steps were just too slow because I didn't want Aiden to catch me. However, I was still caught by him at the exact moment that I was about to open the room.

“Calithea! You are so hard-headed!” Aiden screamed which stopped me from my plans of escaping. A deep breath escaped from my mouth before I faced him.

“Look, you can't lock me in here the whole day, Aiden. I can't stay here that long. I need to go out and you can't stop me with that,” I replied to him which made him shake his head. He was now walking in my direction which stiffened me in my direction. Not because I was scared of him but because of what I was seeing now. Aiden was shirtless. The only cloth covering his body was the white towel. The Alpha's hotness was jaw-dropping. My mouth widened while looking at his body and the next thing happened that I never expected.
