Chapter 8

Calithea's POV

Aiden removes the white towel from his body, which reveals his hard ass in front of me. My mouth opened wide while my eyes widened upon watching his hot body.

“Damn!” It seemed like I was on fire upon witnessing this scene. I'd never expected Aiden to take the towel away from his body.

“Enjoying the view, little angel?” He asked while he was walking in my direction. My hands squeezed into fists because of what he called me.

Little angel. It sucks!

I hated calling that because I wasn't an angel. I'm a witch and my magic came from the darkness.

“Take it back, Aiden,” his brows furrowed from what I said.

“Take what, Calithea? What did I say?” He asked about me and was pretending he didn't know anything. I could feel the blood inside me now boiling in annoyance just because of what he called me. However, I should not get pissed just because Aiden called me 'little Angel'. 

There is nothing I should get mad about. It has nothing to do with me. I will lose nothing if Alpha Aiden calls me that.

“Nah, never mind about it. Just please wear your towel back, Calithea. I-I wasn't comfortable about this…” Aiden chuckled at what I mentioned. I even turned my head away to avoid seeing his hardy cock who was now trying to allure me. I should not allow myself to be allured by Aiden.

“What if I don't, Calithea?” What if… I wanted to do what we did last time. What would you do?” I bite my bottom lip and Aiden grabs my waist. He even slammed me against the wall which made me let out a sigh. I was trying to control myself because I won't allow him to manipulate me this time. I won't allow him to use his charm to allure me. This asshole can't make out to me again and promise that.

“Get off your ass from me, Aiden, please… Just… Just let me go,” I uttered, so he looked at me with his blank expression.

“If you don't want this to happen again, just don't keep resisting, Calithea. You must be thankful I was rushing because if not… I will never allow anything to happen to us,” he uttered and let me. I was able to take a deep breath when Aiden left me. He already walked to his closet to change. I was left here and because I don't want us to run and chase, I choose to stay. After all, I don't have a choice.

I don't have a choice but to accept this fate. The fate that I will be mated to him. I have to accept that Alpha Aiden is my mate and that he owns me. Everything will become chaos if I escape. Alpha Aiden is the king now and most importantly, I was living in his pack. I don't want to leave here, not after I get my kind. I am doing this according to my plan. Accepting my fate to be mated by this jerk Alpha would help me a lot in so many ways. It will help me live my life here until I can have justice for my kind.

My decision to stay can only mean that this is the acceptance of fate. I will accept my fate of being mated to him.

“Glad to know that you never escaped,” I immediately got up from sitting when Alpha Aiden spoke. He just came out of the closet and was now dressed up. He is not naked anymore and I wouldn't be turned on.

“As if I have a choice, Aiden?” He smirked at what I said. Alpha Aiden went near me and then he put his left hand on my waist which stunned me.

“That's good to know. So, can we leave now?” My brows furrowed because of what he asked me.

“Where are we going, Aiden and why haven't you told me about it earlier?” I asked him which made him let out a sigh.

“Crap! You are not still taking your bath. Go ahead, Calithea. I'll give you time to change,” he uttered which made me shake my head. I was about to walk through the bathroom when he spoke again. “Wait! The bathroom has no windows by the way,” I grit my teeth because of how this jerk teases me.

“Damn you!” I growled and continued walking through the bathroom. I even slammed the door in annoyance. But after I locked the door, my legs started numbing. I fell to the ground while I was covering my lips. Even now, I still can't forget what we did last time. All the things which Aiden does to me are still so fresh inside of my head and there's no way for me to forget about him. I could never forget the steamy bed scenes that we shared.

It took me about a minute that I did nothing but reminisce about what happened last night. After that, I decided to take a short bath because I had no plan of making the jerk Alpha wait. I don't want his horn to appear just because I make him wait.

After several minutes of bathing, I went out of the bathroom just with the white towel covering my body. The moment when I opened the door, Aiden was already there. He was stunned seeing me, so I can't stop my brows from furrowing because of him.

“I… I was about to k-knock but—damn. I am so sorry,” he mumbled in utterance. Aiden even walks out without waiting for my sentence. I just shook my head, while there was a smirk formed on my lips upon seeing his reaction earlier.

Aiden was cute when he was surprised. It suits him.

“Stop it, Calithea! You should not think about him!” I scolded myself and kept walking through the closet to change. I wasn't taking too long in changing, so I went out of the closet and found Aiden sitting on the couch waiting for me. 

He stood up and I was stunned at my fit when I noticed something about him.
