Chapter 3

Calithea's POV

Alpha Aiden kissed me again for the second time, and I don't feel like pushing him away. I wrap my hands on his nape and allow him to enter my mouth. This is all wrong, but I don't feel like stopping him! 

What is going on with me? I'm a witch, but the way I act now, it looks like I'm already a human being. 

“Mate!” Alpha Aiden mumbled the moment we parted. My face flushed from the way he laid his eyes on my body. 

“Stop it.” I was referring to his stares. 

“My wolf recognizes you as our mate, Calithea, and regardless of how much I don't want you as our mate, my wolf is stronger, and he wants you!” He hissed towards me and I bit my bottom lips. Alpha Aiden held my hand, and he started pulling me out of the room.

He helped me to hop inside his car, and we left my house to go to the palace, where the king is waiting for us. I could feel the pounding of my heart as we were getting near the palace. Even though I don't like the idea of being mated to this arrogant Alpha, I can't do anything to change my fate. I'm living in the werewolf's land and I have to act like I am part of them. 

“Starting tonight, you're living in the palace.” Alpha Aiden uttered when we were walking in the hallway of the palace. 

“What the hell!?” I exclaimed in disbelief. 

“You're my mate, remember?” He asked, which made me sigh. We continued walking until we reached where his father, the Alpha King, was waiting for us. Alpha Aiden introduced me to his father and I felt nervous about the way his dad stared at me. 

“Love your mate, son.” He muttered, making my mouth agape. 

“Don't worry dad, I will love my mate the way you did to mom, and also, trust me. I will do my best to rule this pack.” Aiden mumbled and which made his dad pat his shoulder. 

“I know, and now that you have the throne, I can take a rest.” The king mumbled, and before he left, he stopped near my direction and murmured something. 

“My son is lucky to have you as his mate.” His dad uttered and which made me bite my bottom lips. Alpha Aiden's dad patted my shoulder, too, before he left. 

“At last, dad already gave the throne to me.” I turned my gaze towards Aiden, and he was smiling because of victory. “I have everything now. Power, the throne, and also… A beautiful mate.” He added and slammed me against the wall. Aiden held my hands and pinned them above my head which made my heart pound so fast inside my chest. 

“W…what are you saying, Alpha?” I asked in my stuttering tone and which made him chuckle. 

“Are you aware of how beautiful you are, Calithea? Your mystique personality and beauty made me realize that I should be grateful because you're my mate. At least, the prophecy made the right choice.” He mumbled and which made me bite my bottom lips to stop myself from smiling. 

“You know what, Alpha Aiden… It's just the two of us in here, and you must stop the act. Let me go and allow me to go home.” I mumbled and was about to leave when the Alpha carried me. 

“You're not leaving.” He uttered and started walking. I tried my best to flounder, but he was stronger than me. 

“Put me down, Aiden!?” I screamed, but he didn't listen. 

“Mate!” He warned and which stopped me. I don't know, but every time he screams that my heart reacts. It's maybe because until now, I still can't believe that I was the chosen mate of this hot Alpha. 

Alpha Aiden put me down the moment that we entered a room. My heart is still pumping so fast because of nervousness. 

“W…what are you planning, Aiden?” I asked in my stuttering tone when he was getting near my direction. 

“Let's make the bed into a fire, mate.” He mumbled and I swallowed my saliva in nervousness. 

“Whatever you're planning, please stop that, Aiden! I'm warning you, don't ever continue what's in your head, or you will regret it in the end.” I warned him, but he didn't listen. The Alpha was about to climb on top of me when we heard three knocks at the door. I felt saved by the knocks. 

“Don't you ever leave, or I will punish you, mate.” He threatened me before stepping out of the room. I just shake my head and get up from the bed. 

“Who the hell are you to follow, huh?” I asked, and a smirk curled to my lips when I thought of escaping here in the palace. My moves were just cautious as I stepped out of the room. 

“Calithea?” I jumped in nervousness when someone spoke behind my back. 

“It's just you, Natasha. You almost scared me.” I mumbled, which made her brows furrow. 

“What are you doing to the room of the Alpha?” She asked me. 

“I'll explain everything to you, later.” Natasha was still calling my name, but I rushed just to leave, and I almost reached the stairs when I heard something in a room I passed from earlier. My curiosity emerged within me to check what is happening in that room. I returned from where I passed just to check that room. My heart is still pounding so fast as I am getting near the room. 

I breathed out heavily before pulling the door and was surprised that it was not locked at all. This is not right, and I'm aware of that, but I cannot control my curiosity. The moment that I opened the door, my jaw almost dropped to the ground from what I witnessed. 

“Oh…” The woman groaned out of pleasure and stopped when they heard the sound when I opened it. 

“What the hell, Calithea,” Aiden mumbled towards me. I caught him playing with another woman, and before I could run, he already jumped away from the bed to catch me. 

Damn, he already caught me, but I did something to him.
