The Alpha King's Mysterious Slave

Calithea's POV

Wails of agony could be heard all over the land of the witches. I was resting at that time after the tiresome training when groups of men attacked our land. My kind can't fight them because they are using guns to destroy us. Tears were already streaming down my eyes upon witnessing what just happened. 

“Mom, dad!” I mumbled when I remembered my parents. Using my ability, I flew and reached home in just about a minute, but my world crumbled upon seeing our house burning into flames. My parents were there, and I could smell their burning bodies on the fire. They killed them, and I was screaming in so much pain. 

“Mom! Dad!” My knees fell to the ground because of what happened. I wandered my eyes throughout the surroundings and witnessed our land burning into flames. The anonymous killers already left the land and I did nothing to avenge my family and my kind. I did nothing to save them. Crying and grieving was the only thing I can do currently. It took me about an hour when I started burying the dead bodies of the witches. Using my abilities, I made it in just an hour. 

My fists clenched when I faced all of them. It is so heartbreaking to see my kind dying.

“I will hunt them and make them pay for all the things they've done to us. I'll avenge mom and dad.” My teeth gritted in rage when I uttered those words and thereafter, I started leaving our land. I have nowhere to go, and I don't know where to start until I find a portal and enter it. It's the land of werewolves and I could start my new life here, after the tremendous past I have in our land. 

Three years later...

Three years had already passed when that tremendous event happened in my life. I was living peacefully in the land of werewolves. Oh, wait, scratch that.  

I was working as a slave at the palace, the place where the royal family lived. The alpha king, the alphas, and the rest of the family. I was walking in the hallway of the palace when someone grabbed my hand. He pinned me against the wall, and I was about to react when I learned that it was Alpha Aiden. The hot werewolf alpha who turns out to be my mate. 

I will be his chosen mate, and I hated it. Alpha Aiden has never been my dream man because of him being so arrogant, heartless, and perverted. 

“Let me go, Alpha Aiden, I'm telling you,” I uttered towards him, but he just smirked. My heart pounded so fast for no reason upon staring at his attractive eyes. 

“What if I don't? You are my mate, and I'm certain that you're enjoying this news, right?” He asked me, and I'm aware that he doesn't like me. I wasn't his dream mate, but the prophecy had already come out, and I was his mate. 

“You're wrong, Alpha. I don't even like the idea of being your mate. Let me go or everything would be late.” I uttered towards him, but the Alpha just smirked and said that he wasn't concerned about my threats. 

“What do you want, Calithea, for you to leave me alone? Just tell me about it because I'm willing to do it.” He mumbled which made me shake my head. 

“Simple, just tell the alpha king, the council, that you wanted to reject me. You don't have to avoid me.” The Alpha shook his head from what I uttered. 

“I can't do that because my father won't pass the throne if I'm mateless and whether I like it or not, I have no other options which is to accept you.” He uttered that made me smirk. Alpha Aiden, still pinning me against the wall with his face near my face. I could feel his hot breath on my face, which made my body shiver. 

“You cannot change the prophecy that I will be your mate, and the thing you can do today was to accept that truth, alpha. Let me go because I still have many things to do.” I uttered towards him and attempted to flounder, but he didn't allow me to escape. 

“You're a mystique woman, Calithea and I don't understand why prophecy chooses you and even my inner wolf as our mate. This is ridiculous but on the other hand… I don't feel any regrets about it. You're beautiful, sexy, hot, and something crosses in my head that I want to give you…” He paused his sentence, which made my body tremble. 

This Alpha never stops pestering me every day when I was working here in the palace. He kept disturbing me. 

“W…what was that, Alpha Aiden?” I asked in my stuttering tone. Aiden grabbed my waist, and he moved closer to me. 

“It's the kiss, Calithea and I wanted to taste that red kissable lips of yours.” He uttered at me which made my mouth agape in shock. Alpha Aiden already took my lips without asking permission and my legs trembled in nervousness. I grasped his shirt to support my body and my heart pounded so fast inside my chest. My heart and my mind were battling with what I should do about what is happening at this moment. 

I know this is not right, and I must not allow anyone to kiss me because this is against us, but knowing that the man who's kissing me was a hot Alpha, I felt no hesitation at all. His lips tasted so sweet, and he was a good kisser. 

Alpha Aiden, my mate, was so hot that I did not feel like pushing him away. 

“Enjoying much? How does it feel to be kissed by the hot Alpha, Mystique?” He asked, which made my face redden. 

“Damn you for stealing me a kiss. You'll regret it, Alpha Aiden.” I muttered and was about to leave when something happened which almost fled my soul from my body.
