Chapter 5

Calithea's POV

Alpha Aiden was stopped from what he was about to do with me when his beta hastily approached us. 

“What!?” He asked his beta and his tone seemed annoyed towards him. I still can't believe what the Alpha did. He kissed me again, and I can't believe that I will only allow him to kiss me. Flirting with an Alpha is not my mission, why I lost here. I am here to find the culprit of my parent's death and as well as those who killed my kind. 

“Someone is looking for you, Alpha Aiden.” The beta replied and which made my brows furrow. 

“Aiden?” A female voice called his name and I can't stop, but roll my eyes knowing that it was a woman. I'm certain that it's one of his flings. 

“I'm leaving, Alpha Aiden.” The moment that I was about to step my feet away when Aiden stopped me. 

“Where do you think you're going, Calithea?” He asked, which made me sigh. 

“Can't you understand what I said? I'm leaving, Alpha Aiden and I think, you're not needing me since she was here.” I even pointed to the woman who just arrived.

“Stay and don't ever disobey me, Calithea. That's an order from your Alpha King.” Aiden uttered, and I couldn't believe what he said. He was being manipulative, but he's the newly crowned Alpha King. Disobeying him means I also disobey the werewolf's policies. I just heaved out a deep breath and stayed next to him. Aiden faced our female visitor and upon seeing her reaction, she seemed hurt. I don't know her nor have I seen this girl before. 

“Do you have anything in here, Candice?” He asked and oh, he knew this girl. I'm certain that it's one of his flings.

“W…who is she, Aiden? Is it true that you already found your mate?” She asked Aiden. 

“Yes, and you better stay away from me because I already have my mate by my side,” Aiden uttered, and I'm a bit shocked when he grabbed my waist closer to him. 

“I don't believe she was your mate, Aiden. She was just your fling, and I could feel that.” The woman muttered, which made my eyes widen towards her. 

“It's up to you if you believe me or not. Well, I will be announcing this soon.” Aiden replied, and the woman walked out with tears flowing from her eyes. She looked dismayed. 

“What did you do, Aiden? You kept hurting a woman's feelings.” I mumbled, and he turned his head in my direction.

“Nah, it's their choice, Calithea. I'm not forcing them to be with me, but it was them who kept approaching me. Well, women will keep chasing me because I'm handsome and got Alpha in this pack.” He muttered which made me shake my head in disbelief. This man is an arrogant Alpha, and he thought that he can manipulate all the women here in the pack, but not me. I will never fall into his hands and I will never allow him to manipulate me. 

Swear that. 

“You're being an arrogant Alpha, Aiden,” I uttered courageously and did not care what his reaction would be. 

“What did you call me?” He asked on his furrowed brows. 

“Don't keep me to repeat, Aiden. You heard what I said.” I mumbled and was about to walk when he grasped my wrist and started pulling it somewhere I don't know. 

“Arrogant Alpha, huh… Let me show you how arrogant I am, Calithea. You just touched my ego.” He uttered and kept pulling me away. My heart pounded so fast as I couldnot stop myself from feeling nervous about what he was thinking. 

“Release me, Aiden, or you will regret it,” I warned, but he didn't listen. My blood started to boil, but I'm controlling myself because I avoid using my power. This is not the appropriate time to use it and this is not a good place. 

“Why, Calithea? What will you do?” He asked, and Aiden pinned me against the wall again. I close my eyes when his face moves near my face. His hot minty breath, I could feel it against my face. The next moment, Aiden had already taken my lips and I forgot how many times he kept kissing me. I wrap my hands around his nape and respond to his kiss. Alpha Aiden started carrying me and the next thing I know, he already put me down in the bed. 

I was battling about what I should do. This is not right, but the desire I feel now cannot be controlled. 

“Just wanted to show you how arrogant I am, Cali…” He mumbled, and the strand of my hair stood on end when he mentioned my name. Alpha Aiden removed his clothes, showing off his masculine body. I bit my bottom lips when I stared at his six-pack abs that looked shimmering in my eyes. 

“So hot…” I mumbled and that made the Alpha smirk. 

“I know, Cali, and you don't have to mention that,” Aiden uttered, which made me cover my mouth in embarrassment. I can't believe that he heard what I said. 

“This is not right, Aiden. I have to leave.” Aiden was on top of me before I could escape. He cornered me by pinning my hands above my head. 

“I will never allow you to escape, Calithea. You are mine and since you're my mate, I have all the rights to do what I want from you.” I was biting my bottom lips from what he said. It's as if I do not have enough abilities to stop this arrogant Alpha about his plans. 

It's as if my body also wants it. 

“I will never allow you to manipulate me, Aiden…” He had already taken my lips, which stopped me from talking. I clenched my fists and was trying to convince myself to push him away, but later on, I gave up. 

He was kissing me so intimately that it made my body weak. I can no longer stop the lust to feel how to be pleased with an Alpha. Alpha Aiden did something in the next moment that almost fled my soul from my body.
