Chapter 62 - Getting what they deserved.

Gabriella’s eyes searched the charging wolves for one wolf in particular and as soon as she found him, she charged. There was a loud clash as wolves attacked wolves and all around them, magic flew through the air. In the distance, Gabriella could see a couple of people trying to fire their guns, but they weren’t working on this side of the border and she smiled as she zoned in on the king.

He had forgotten that no matter how strong he thought he was, even he couldn’t change the fact that modern-day things didn’t work on this side of the border. The magic interfered with the technology and his weapons weren’t going to help him.

Gabriella came to a halt just a couple of feet away from him and her jaw snapped as she snarled. He actually stank so badly of sulfur that it burned her eyes a little.
