“Why didn’t you kill us then?” Ryan asked, now feeling angry.

“Because I wasn’t strong enough to. I was waiting for a chance for that mutt to kill you.” Esmeralda told him and pointed at Shadow. “But he joined hands with you, so I had no choice but to join hands with Blake to get rid of you.”
