Chapter 12: Beloved Daughter

The sun had long set and it was now night time, as I laid on my bed. I was in the dark in my room as I refused to light up the lantern. The Delta werewolves had kindly offered to do so for me but I ignored them. I just wanted to be left alone in the dark. The darkness of my room matched how I felt inside - it was gloomy.

I hadn't spoken to Aria since I was confined to my room. I didn't feel like it. The Delta guards were also outside my room and would think I was insane talking outloud "to myself".

I was backing the window as I laid on my side on the bed, staring at the entrance of my room. The door was broken, so I could see a reflection of the light coming from the passageway. I was about to close my eyes to get some sleep if I could manage it, when I heard footsteps approaching. They were familiar footsteps of two werewolves I knew so well - they were those of my parents.
