Chapter 3

I shifted into my large wolf, my coat a light brown almost red colour and my eyes a dark black. My wolf was bigger than the average she-wolf, just like Mason's wolf was bigger than the average male wolf. Mason's wolf was the same colour as mine, but his was a lot bigger and bulkier than mine. My wolf was a lot more streamline and delicate.

I collected my jeans and shirt in my mouth and jogged out from behind the tree, Mason close behind me. The Alpha, Brody, had also shifted; his wolf was a dark black and was a close size to Mason's.

Brody ran over to me and growled, his eyes wondering over my wolf in happiness. He rubbed his head against my neck and I growled in response; a happy, cheerful growl. Mason rushed over and pushed Brody away from me. He stood in front of me, blocking Brody from me. Brody growled at him in anger, Mason returned the growl.

Boys, I thought to myself before I rolled my eyes and pushed Mason's side with my head. He got the idea and gestured, with his head, for Brody to lead the way. Brody turned and took off, further into the forest, in a slow run. Mason, I and Brody's wolves all followed him.

Being so small meant that I was a faster runner than most men. That was how I fought so well; I used my speed to make up for my lack of strength compared to male wolves. I ran beside Brody, he watched me as we ran. He was fascinated with my speed and my wolf size. Mason ran the other side of me, growling at Brody whenever he got too close to me.

We ran for about half an hour until we reached the Vega Moon pack's territory. It was big, bigger than I would have thought. When we reached the territory all the pack wolves left us, going in their own directions. Mason and I followed Brody as he continued to run.

When we reached a big sandy coloured house, I knew it belonged to him. It was obviously a pack house. It was grand and expensive, the kind of house you see in magazines. I could see, and hear, the buzz from the people inside. Brody nodded at us to shift back.

Mason pushed me around to the back of the house before I shifted. I rolled my eyes at his behaviour but quickly shifted back and changed into my clothes. Mason did the same, a sour look on his face the entire time. "What is it Mase?" I sighed as he pulled his shirt on.

"I don't like this" he mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest and acting like a child. I raised my eyes at his behaviour.

"You're acting like a child" I told him as we walked back to the front of the pack house.

"No you're acting like a child" he pouted at me and I laughed.

"Very mature Mase" I chuckled, shaking my head as I laughed. He gave me an annoyed look as we rounded the front of the house, I saw Brody pacing in front. He turned around and saw me, a toothy grin forming on his face as he caught sight of me. I mirrored his happy expression.

We walkedoverto him and he quickly slipped his arm around my waist. My body tingled at his touch as he tugged me Into his side. "Mine" he said as he pushed one of my loose curls behind my ear.

"I think we already gathered that" Mason mumbled sarcastically and both Brody and I gave him a pointed look. He simply smirked in reply. "So are we going in, or are we going to stand around staring lovingly into each other's eyes for the rest of the day?" he asked.

"Is he always like this?" Brody sighed, his grip still firm on me.

"Every second of every day" I told him and he chuckled. "But you get used to it" I added.

"Really?"

"No but you'll learn to drown him out like I do" I smiled at Brody and he laughed. Mason growled at me moodily before he stormed past me into the pack house.

"Come Allison," Brody said, pulling me into the pack house behind my brother. "You're mine" he whispered into my ear and I giggled girlishly.

"Is there anything in here I can use to poke my eyes out?" Mason grumbled and I thumped his arm playfully as Brody wrapped both his arms around my waist from behind.

"l do" I nodded and he smiled, his face still in mine. A knock came at the door and Brody smirked at me before he pulled away and stood. I was dazed and shocked but I sat back up, my legs dangling over the edge of his desk.

"Enter" Brody stated and a small girl walked in. She was around my age with short brown hair and large dark eyes, she was pretty with deep dimples in both her cheeks. "Ah Marissa" Brody smiled as the girl walked further into the room.

"This her?" the girl, Marissa, asked, smiling over at me in excitement.

"Yes, this my mate," Brody said, taking my hand and helping me down from the desk. "Marissa, this is your new Luna; Allison. Allison, this is my sister, Marissa" he said.

"Hi," Marissa said, offering me her hand. I shook it and she squealed happily. "Oh My Gosh, your hair is amazing. Is It natural?" she asked.

"Yeah" I smiled at her. She was nice but friends weren't my forte. Mason was my only friend, the only friend I had ever had. "It's nice to meet you Marissa" I smiled at her.

Marissa was about to say something when Mason stormed into the room, his eyes black in anger. "You've had enough 'private time' with my sister" he growled, "we're going home. Now" he snapped.

"Don't start Mase" I groaned and he growled at me. Brody growled back at him. It seemed that no one could keep their animal side in check.

"Look I have been patient with you up until now rouge" Brody growled pushing both Marissa and I behind me. "But you have exactly two seconds to get off my territory" he snapped.

"Brody calm down" I muttered putting my hand on my arm. "Maybe Mase and I should go home" I suggested.

"No, you are the Luna of this pack. That means you live here, with me" Brody barked at me. Mason growled at him and pulled me to his side. Brody growled back and grabbed my hand. They began pulling me back and forward between them, like a tug of war.

"Both of you stop it, you're going to pull her apart" Marissa said pushing their arms over me, I was very grateful.

"I just mean maybe Mase and I should go to my house. Then maybe you could visit me in the morning" I shrugged my voice small and childlike. I had worked out from a young age that acting Innocent and childlike was more likely to get male Werewolves wanting to listen to me. I wouldn't call myself manipulative, more like using my appearance to Its strengths.

"I second that plan" Mason said sticking his hand in the air, I gave him a glare and his hand gesture turned into a mock surrender.

"Fine, but I will take you home and I will pick you up tomorrow and take you to school. I will then pick you up from school and help you move your things into the pack house" he stated. I pouted but nodded yes.

"I can't fucking believe this" Mason shouted, throwing his hands up in defeat. "I knew we shouldn't have come to this town. I hate this stupid pack" he screamed and stamped his foot childishly. I smirked at him, so did Brody and Marissa. He really was behaving like a child throwing atantrum.

"Don't be such a drama queen Mase '' I rolled my eyes, "come on let's go home" I chuckled, pulling on his arm. He muttered under his breath in annoyance and stormed out the pack house. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I'll see you in school tomorrow Luna" Marissa smiled at me as Brody put his hand on my back and ushered me out of the office.

"Your brothers a bit of a handful, huh?" Brody whispered to me and I chuckled. He gave me a cheeky grin before he pushed a loose curl out my face. "You're so beautiful Allison'' he smiled at me and I frowned slightly.

"I'm not, but thank you for saying so" I told him with a small smile, he gave me a confusing look and was about to say something, but Mason cut him off.

"Goddammit Alli, I'm not waiting all bloody day for you" he shouted and I rolled my eyes at him. He was always possessive and short tempered but he was even worse that day, he was feeling nervous about being in the presence of an Alpha and his pack. I couldn't blame him for his behaviour, but it didn't mean he wasn't aggravating me.

Brody drove Mason and I home. As we drove Brody rested his hand on my knee, Mason began growling at him from the back. Brody grunted in annoyance before removing his hand and focusing on the road. We spent the rest of the drive in silence, with only Mason or I talking to give Brody directions.

When we reached our apartment building, Mason got out and stormed into the building. "I wish you were staying with me tonight," Brody said, cupping my cheek.

"Why, so you could have your wicked way with me?" I asked and he laughed and leant forward.

"Having my way with you is all I've been thinking about since I met you, and will be all I'll be thinking about later on tonight" he whispered seductively in my ear.

"I think you need a cold shower Brody" I smirked and we laughed together. Then Brody took my face in his hands and leaned forward. I closed my eyes; bracing myself for the kiss. My heart was banging so loudly I'm sure he could hear It. Brody let out a breath before he moved his lips closer to mine and-

"Get the fuck off my sister" Mason screamed, pounding his hands on the window. Brody and I jumped apart, I blushed as I turned to look at my red faced brother. "Out of the car. Now" he growled.

"I can tell your brother is going to be cock blocking me at every opportunity" Brody pouted in frustration.

"Damn right I will buddy" Mason shouted.

"Shut up Mase" I snapped as I opened the car door before turning back to Brody. "See you In the morning" I smiled at him.

"If you don't see me in your dreams first sweetheart" Brody winked at me. I giggled girlishly at him and he smirked.

"I think I just threw up in my own mouth a little bit" Mason said before he lifted me from the car and slammed the door. Then he flipped Brody off before pushing me into the apartment building. "You are playing a dangerous game Alli" he hissed at me as we walked into our apartment.

"I'm not playing a game Mase" I frowned at him.

"How do you think he's going to react when he finds out Alli?" he asked me rhetorically.

"He's my mate," I whispered pathetically.

"Well don't come crying to me when he finds out ... you do know that he will reject you the moment he finds out, don't you?"

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it" I sighed, running a hand through my hair in frustration.

"Well I suggest you have a life boat waiting, because that bridge isn't going to hold forever".
