Erasing memories

I didn’t know where I was but where ever it was I felt safe. It wasn’t very bright a pale light illuminating a pathway in front of me. I felt something brush my hand and looked down to see my wolf beside me, her red fur shining and reflecting the little bit of light. How was she here with me? I thought as I ran my hands thru her soft fur, making her purr. I giggled. A wolf purring sounds kinda silly. She made a soft bark before bounding up the path away from me. I followed her quickly, not wanting to be away from her.

It wasn’t long before I was in a clearing that was familiar to me. And in the middle, petting my wolf, was the moon goddess. “Am I dead?” I asked sadly as I approached the two. The moon goddess took my hand when I got close and gestured for me to sit, my wolf moving to put her head on my lap once I did.
