Cruel men

“Are you sure about this?” Kat asked. “These men can be cruel.”

I smiled. “Trust me, I know what I’m doing. This man is going to regret whatever he plans to do.”

Kat was still giving me a worried look when I turned to follow the man called Commander Augustine. The forest was quiet and still, the evening breeze blowing fresh air over my face as I trudged on behind the big man. As we got to a thicker section, my heart began to beat faster. The man was extremely huge compared to me. He could flip me over like a pancake with only one hand. As we went deeper, I began to think I had made a very bad decision.
