Losing it

Some time as he carried me, I lost consciousness. When I woke up, I found myself in an unfamiliar room. All it had was a bed and table. The beddings were very clean, soft and smelled nice. I remembered the pill and realised I was feeling better, like my normal self. Even though the curtains were down, I could tell it was morning due to the kind of light coming through. Sitting up, I stretched hard. I spotted a folded piece of paper on the table and leapt out of bed to get it.

It was a note that said, “Good morning. The dress is for you. You can take a shower in the bathroom, everything you might need is in there. J.”

I rolled my eyes, then glanced at the folded flowered dress on the table.
