Chapter 3

MAIA'S POV

My jaw dropped immediately. He.. He knew me?

 

I gulped hard, my lips already shaking as I replied, "Did you... Did you know me?"

 

Through his mask, I could imagine a scowl. "Did I know you? Little wild May, is that all you have to say?"

 

My eyes widened. "So he still remembered my username, 'Little wild May"? I plastered a smile, "I hope we...."

 

He pulled me closer to himself. "I miss you, my chat partner.... I'm sorry for the other day."

 

As much as I wanted to hide the fact that he'd once slept with me and made me have a cheating history, the more I felt like I actually did him something wrong.

 

I quickly jumped up, "I don't know you, up until now, Alpha Riot. Now, if you'll excuse me...."

I was made to leave, but he pulled my hand back. "You're now my bride, which means you have to obey everything I say, whether you like it or not."

 

Then he pulled me along with him toward the photo session and took some pictures while I stood like a log of wood.

 

My mind was in a state of chaos and turmoil. I really wanted to hug him so badly, but what impression would he have of me, who's now his wife? If I managed to switch with Ayra, then he would think it was me.

 

He slid his arm to my waist, pulling me to his chest, while the sweet scent of mint and chocolate oozed from him as he asked through the picture, "You know, being stiff like this with me is not actually gonna pay you, right?"

 

I forced a little smile, "I don't know what you're talking about, Alpha, I will advise you to...."

 

"Advise me?" He smirked and twirled me around so I could fall into his arms. "You're not in the position to advise me after making a big joke out of me!"

 

My heart seized. Did he know I switched with Ayra?  I cleared my throat and faced the cameraman, "I... I'm slightly tired. Give me five."

 

I didn't wait for a response, but walked off while he rushed after me, and we both stopped in the dark hallway.

 

'No, Maia. If you succumb to him, Ayra will suffer for it. My wolf advised so I plastered a tight smile, keeping my sharp and brave face as I faced him sharply. "Alpha, don't you think you're being too clingy right now?"

 

"Clingy?" He shook his head slowly and raised his hand to lift the mask from his face.

 

There was a standstill for a while, as I gazed into his perfect jaw and captivating eyes. If he were this beautiful, then why is he hiding his identity?

 

As long as I can remember, when I was still a follower of Daddy M, he always had the mask on, too.

 

But why?

 

He advanced nearer with a broader smile, "I asked for a wife, and your father gave me a Gamma, but you switched with your sister, right?"

 

My heart caught in my throat as he said this. "You... you knew all along?"  I moved back to dodge him, only to be stopped by the wall.

 

His smile was slow and predatory. "Of course, little wild May..."

 

"If you knew, then why did you still marry me?" The veil was trembling on my shoulder, and my heart was almost in my mouth, but I still managed to hold myself so that he wouldn't know anything.

 

His hand trapped me beside the wall, while he tilted my chin with the other hand until I couldn't avoid his beautiful eyes anymore. "You carry my heart, Little wild May, and I have to snatch it back, even if it means I will commit a crime with this body"

 

I arched a brow at his strange words. The feel of looking at him this close made me develop goose bumps, but still, I pushed him back. "Alpha, what are you saying?"

 

He leaned closer. "I was trapped in this goddamn body for years! My soul wandered helplessly for years, but now that I have found you...."

 

He stopped and looked sideways, and by the time he looked at me again, his expression had changed. As if he were guilty of something, or he had just made a mistake.

 

"Alpha Riot, would you mind letting me go?" I asked this time when I noticed the change in his attitude.

 

He quickly removed his hand. "Oh... Oh sorry"

 

'Why do I feel this Alpha has another person living inside of him?' My wolf purred, but I didn't stop until I got to another hallway that led to our rooms. "I don't care if he remembers me or not. If he has another person living in him or not. Ayra is leaving with him!"

 

I was about to open Ayra's door, but his hand stopped me again, his eyes smoking hot and his expression grave.

 

"Why are you following me, Alpha?" I asked,  breathing heavily. "I'm going to switch with my sister again so you can have the Gamma and not an Omega like me!

 

"Stop giving me crap, Lilith Baltimore!" He growled. "Don't you dare think you can run away again after stealing my heart!"

 

Tears pricked my eyes; I was at a loss for words. Perhaps the reason why people say he was mad is this. He miraculously changed from the handsome and cool Daddy M to this.

 

Not only that, he's now calling me different names. "P... Please.... Let me go," I pleaded, when I couldn't seem to find any other options.

 

He laughed shortly. "Let you go so you can slip away again?" Running a hand from my nose down to my lips, he declared, "No way in hell, Lilith."

 

I stared at him momentarily without any words. This man is really mad, I told myself inwardly, and this is the proof of it.

 

If I were told that my OnlyFans crush was this mad Alpha, I'd have denied it, but the truth is playing right before me.

 

How did I end up with someone like this? Why did it have to be my crush? I wanted to ask the goddess, but shamefully, I'm still alive.

 

I heaved a long sigh. I just have to get away from him, and to do that, I'll play along. Breaking into  a gentle smile, I patted his shoulder, "I won't leave you again. Just let me take off these dresses and...."

 

"Give me my heart first. Give me my heart so I can get out of this body and reclaim my position!"

 

This is getting more insane, and it's seriously not funny. I wanted to cry, but the tears that pickled my eyes just now seem to have disappeared. I don't even know what he meant!

 

I swallowed hard again, "I will give you your heart. We're married now, right? So don't worry, I'll take care of you."

 

He calmed down, leaned away from me, and it felt like he'd complied at first, but just as I was about to make another move, he caught me again. "I'm never going to fall for your lies anymore. Once this body gets back his original soul, he'll forget all these!"

 

"You can take it," I surrendered. I can't go to one like this. I have to get away from him so I can switch back with Ayra! All the feeling of fluff and lust I had for him is completely gone now. I just have to get away.

 

He raised his hand in the air, and his claws appeared. My eyes widened, "Wait...are you going to kill me?"

 

"Killing you wouldn't make up for the years my soul spent in the wilderness!" He declared. "That little heart beating inside of you is mine and I have to take it"

 

The tears that I thought were gone rushed to my face. Heat also invaded me from nowhere, since no one was in sight.

 

After his claws, his fangs also appeared like he really wanted to kill me and I closed my eyes, anticipating my own death.

 

But after a while, and I heard nothing, I opened my eyes slowly, his hand dropped beside him, and his murderous eyes changed back to a guilty and pitiful one. But the fear is still there, because my hand was shaking and my heart was still pounding madly, as if a live concert were going on there.

 

He stepped back from me, looking like he didn't understand anything. "What... What happened?"

 

I frowned even though was afraid, "You can take your heart and let me be," I answered, even though I didn't mean it. I don't want to die.

 

His face was still unchanged, and he looked at himself like he was a stranger to himself, "Did I hurt you?"

 

"What?"
