Esper stepped inside her room and took a deep breath. She stripped out of her clothes, throwing them in the hamper in her closet, and pulled on a teal baggy t-shirt. Her mind was racing as she thought about the past couple of days, and she needed to sort it all out.
Walking out of her closet, Esper headed to the door next to her bed. It led to her private library, and she trotted over to her desk. The vampire retrieved her laptop and darted back into her room.
Once back inside, Esper plopped onto her bed and opened up her computer. After logging in, she quickly opened up a blank document and started typing down her thoughts.
Seraph – insanely attractive, likes to have fun, enjoys classic television, very athletic, Imperial Guard, excellent pianist (also plays guitar and cello), is eager to learn about me, very passionate, causes spark
A snowstorm was raging out in the night. Branches slammed against the windows, and the wind howled almost as if it was in pain. The room was dim with the warm glow from the fireplace being the only light source. "Little one, it is time for me to leave," the shadowy figure started in a garbled voice. The man stood in the middle of the room with a small silver-haired child. Esper stood back as an onlooker, she had dreamt this dream many times, but this time it felt different. "But I don't want you to go!" This time her younger self was yelling. Usually, the little girl was already defeated, but this time anger and betrayal filled her delicate body. "Esper, your new friends are arriving. You are going to have so much fun with them that you will forget about me. You don't need me anymore." The voice becoming less distorted, and his figure
The couple walked back down the hall and up to the third floor. As they reached the landing, they heard cheerful chatter coming out of the open tea room door. Inside, her friends shooting the breeze with each other. When they saw the couple's arrival, they all cheered and rallied. Esper smiled in the company of her friends, cherishing their happi
The spa/locker room was filled with different stimulants for all of their senses. The tranquil sounds of a yamatogoto filled the air and was paired with the relaxing scent of jasmine. The girls were soaking in the jacuzzi, charcoal masques covering their faces, and their hair was caked with strawberry masques. "This was definitely needed." Esper let out a sigh of relief as she let herself sink shoulder-deep into the herb-infused water. Now that she had found her mate, Esper knew the rest of the time would consist of fun and relaxation. No more stressing over the dates or how the boys made her feel. She had her mate, her true soul mate, and with her memories restored, Esper felt complete. "So, Ronnie, what have you and Remy been up to?" Esper loved the way her friend's new nickname sounded paired with the suitor. Ronnie removed the cucumbers from h
Dressed in her clothes from before, Esper stepped out and was surprised to see everyone was gone except Seraph, who was dressed and waiting. A wide smile formed on her mate's lips when he saw Esper. Scooping her up in his arms, Seraph headed out of the spa. "I can walk, you know," she jested. Seraph nuzzled his face in her silver locks and pulled her closer as he continued forward. "Yes, but I want to hold you. Don't even try to fight it because you won't win." Admitting defeat, Esper nestled herself into his arms and rested her head on his chest. Seraph carried her all the way back to the house and didn't set her down until they reached the theater. "If we are having another movie night, we will need to change up the furniture in here. I'm sure everyone would appreciate a little privacy." Esper stated as she quickly got to work, movi
The week leading up to Esper's birthday blew by in a flash. The nights were filled with spending time with her mate and friends, and the days were full of dreams of her future.
The night of Esper's birthday had been an absolute blast. She had skated the entire time with her loved ones, and the night was finally winding down. Ronnie pulled the silver-haired vampire into a heated cabana with a table full of gifts. "Present time birthday girl," the brunette exclaimed. Esper laughed as she sat in an ornate chair that had been dubbed 'The Birthday Throne.' Ronnie picked up a medium-sized square box wrapped in teal paper and topped with a silver bow. "Open mine first!" She clapped her hands together in excitement as she watched Esper rip into the paper. The silver-haired vampire's face lit up when she saw the contents of the box. Inside was a limited-edition boxed set of Federico Fellini films. "Thank you so much, doll! I don't even want to know how you managed to get this, but I truly appreciate it." Esper hugged the boxed set and placed it carefully on the empty table beside her. It was definitely going straight to her private collection of classic cinemas.
The soft sounds of snoring flitted about the dark room. Seraph was gently playing with Esper's silver locks as the moonlight beamed across the bed. He loved watching her sleep, and the pearly glow of the moon made her look like a goddess. Ever since he had come back, Seraph lived for these secret little moments. Esper was all
When the couple reached the bedroom, Esper let out a sigh of relief. The sparring match would stave off her father for the rest of the day, which meant more time with Seraph. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy spending time with Wesley. She knew the news of her accepting Seraph was finally setting in. Wesley was starting to feel his little girl slip away, but in reality, she was just growing up. The sound of gentle music broke Esper out of her deep train of thought. She opened her bathroom door to see candles, rose petals, and a massage table. “Since you’ve been training so hard, I thought I could help you relax,” Seraph offered, holding out a robe. “How thoughtful,” Esper chuckled, accepting the change of clothes. After changing into the robe, Esper lazily laid on the table and let Seraph get to work on massaging her muscles. His fingers were like magic, working out all of her tension and knots. When Seraph’s hands began to wander, Esper couldn’t help but chuckle. “You, sir, are a
