The day of Landon's funeral finally came. Beta and his mate, Landon's family and a few friends, including Skyler and Clara were present at the cemetery. Soon after, the Coffin was lowered into the grave and those present started dropping their roses before dispersing. Clara walked up to Liam and gave him a few words of encouragement as well as an appreciation for saving her life.

After the ceremony, Skyler drove them back to the pack house and parked his car, Clara and him stepped down at the same time and he went around the car to meet her, he drew her into his arms abd spoke into her ear." I'm sorry I can't accompany you this afternoon, I have something to deal with. I will let Aliyah know, she will serve you in my absence".

Clara readily agreed, knowing he had a lot to do as the Alpha of the pack, he had already been spending too much time with her in the past two days without stepping out to attend to pack duties, she Appreciated every minutes they spent together but she couldn't
