"Whose car is that?" Jared asked me as he pulled into the driveway of my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home. I was talking to Kelly, and we had just dropped off my parents at their house. Jared was dropping me off at my house and then would drop off Kelly last because she lived closer to where he lived. I turned away from Kelly and looked into my driveway to see the unmistakable Cadillac Escalade that Elijah travels to work with. My breath caught in my throat and my heart began to pound against my chest, "uh, that's my boss's car," I answered slowly as I turned to look back at Jared and Kelly who had on a huge smile while Jared looked unbothered by it.

"Alright then, see you on the weekend. We really have to find a dress, Zara," Jared told me as he leaned in and planted a kiss on my cheek and I waved goodbye to Kelly.
