Kane's POV

I've always been a man of my word.

Three full days. I didn't see her, didn't call, didn't send a single message.

Even when I passed by her office and felt my pace unconsciously slow.

Even when meetings ended and my eyes instinctively scanned the room, searching for her face.

Even when I lay in bed at night, reaching out only to touch the cold emptiness beside me.

I told myself—give her space. Let her breathe. Be patient.

But today is Saturday.

I stood at my office window, staring out at the empty assistant's desk beyond the one-way glass. The cigar in my hand burned down, forgotten.

And then… I simply wanted to see her. No, needed to. Hear her voice. Look into her eyes.

That's all, I told myself. No hidden agenda. Just... missing her.

Even if I wouldn't admit it out loud, the next thing I knew, I'd stubbed out the cigar, grabbed my coat, and told my bodyguards we were going to t

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   18+ You! Don't! Deserve! Love!

Aria's POVThe moment I stepped into the apartment, Kane slammed the door shut behind me with such force that it rattled in its frame. Before I could even find my footing, he pinned me against it, his hands gripping my wrists like iron shackles. His breath was hot and ragged against my face, seething with barely contained fury."Besides beef soup,Was that all he had?" he growled, his voice low and venomous. "Has he tasted your sweetness? Like I did?"My heart skipped a beat. Not from fear—but from a sickening realization, a sense of something collapsing inside me.His lips curled into a sneer. "Too bad," he hissed, fingers biting into my arms, "I'm not done fucking you. Did you really think I'd just hand you over to him?"His face was only inches from mine. But there was no warmth in his eyes—only contempt, twisted with something far darker. And in that moment, I saw him clearly. This was Kane. • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   I Regret It!

Aria's POVFinally having Kane's "vacation approval"felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. My nerves, once taut and buzzing, finally had a chance to relax. At last, I could focus on myself without that constant tension gnawing at me.But the calm was short-lived.The next morning at work, just as I finished sorting out a tricky piece of copy, my phone lit up — a message from Chad. That simple ping shattered the fragile peace I'd fought so hard to build.[Aria, sorry, I won't make it to the hospital tonight.]The words were so brief, so clean, almost cold. But my chest clenched painfully. He had to be in trouble.[What happened?]I typed quickly, nails tapping nervously on the screen.[Nothing, just some unexpected overtime.]A lie. I knew it immediately.[Tell me

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   A Shift I Never Saw Coming

Aria's POVMy eyes flew open as I felt the press of his lips. Kane wasn't kissing me—he was slipping a bite of steak into my mouth. The rich taste of red wine still lingered on it, exploding across my tongue. His tongue brushed against the roof of my mouth in a deliberately slow, teasing sweep. When he finally pulled away, a warm trace of moisture clung to my lips."Good?" he murmured, his thumb gently wiping the corner of my mouth, his voice dark and smug.My face ignited with heat. Every muscle in my body tensed. If I had any strength left, I'd stab his hand with my dinner knife."You're insane," I growled under my breath, grabbing his plate and digging in like a woman on the edge.He leaned back in his chair, watching me with a half-smile. Then, casually, he dropped another bomb."Funny... I was the one doing most of the work, and yet you're the one starving."I nearly choked. I shot him a murderous glare. This man!He always knew exactly how to push my buttons with a single senten

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   Take a Bath Together

Aria's POVI had no idea how long it lasted—minutes? Hours? An eternity?By the time it was over, I felt like I had been pulled apart and pieced back together, bone by bone, nerve by nerve. Even lifting a finger felt like a monumental task. All I could think about was eating something—anything—and then passing out for a week. But of course, Kane had other plans."Up." His voice cut through the haze. He stood beside the sofa, already dressed, not a single button out of place. Crisp, composed, like the man who had just unraveled me didn't exist.I lay sprawled across the cushions, completely boneless."I can't…" My voice was barely a whisper. "I'm starving…""Shower first."He didn't wait for my reply. Instead, he leaned down, slid his arms under me, and lifted me as if I weighed nothing. Steady steps carried us toward the bathroom. The warm mist hit me like a wave, making my head swim. I barely registered being lowered into the tub until the heat of the water coaxed a sigh from my lips

  • The Billionaire Regret After My Goodbye   18+ Plan B

Aria's POVOf course I couldn't tell him the truth. I just mumbled vaguely, "I'm still practicing… I'm not very good at it yet."I figured he wouldn't care either way.A man like Kane—surrounded by Michelin-star chefs and living in a world so far removed from mine—surely wouldn't be interested in my clumsy attempts at soup.Sure enough, he let out a low chuckle, his voice laced with amusement and something else I couldn't quite place. "I guesse so. Come over. Now."The call ended before I could even respond.I stared at the pot of soup still bubbling gently on the stove, steam curling into the air like a question I couldn't answer. The fever that had just broken seemed to return, not in temperature, but in the restless heat that coiled inside me.What was I doing?Making soup for an ex, lying to my current… employer? Lover? I wasn't even sure what to call Kane anymore.Whatever this triangle was, it was messy. And dangerous.Still, I couldn't bring myself to throw the soup away.Maybe
