CHAPTER 8.1

"WHERE is the twins?" I asked the head servant after she poured a coffee in my glass.

"Nandoon po sa yaya nila!" Maligalig niyang sinabi. Kapagkuwan ay lumapit sa may gilid ko na parang may ibubulong. "In fairness sir ano, hindi pa siya nagre-resign pagkatapos ng mga pinanggagawa ng kambal sa kanya!"

In the middle of reading the important documents, I shifted my weight to the other side so that I could listen to her nonsense stories. I put my thumb and forefinger on my jaw, as if thinking deeply, but the truth is, I am so engrossed in what she is going to tell me about that woman with my kids.
