The Contract

It took everything in me to walk into the company that windy Wednesday morning. I'd woken up earlier than expected and sat on my bed, thinking of how today was going to turn out.

I mean, he hadn't fired me but that didn't excuse the fact that he sent me out of the company. I was so embarrassed and it was all his fault.

There was absolutely no reason for him to be mad at me even though I almost killed him. I just hoped something happened and he found a reason not to come to work today.

All that hope went down the drain when he walked out of the elevator in his blue three piece suit and laid back hair. My heart thumped loudly against my chest as he marched past me without acknowledging my greeting.

I had to admit, he looked exceptionally handsome today but it's quite unfortunate that there's a mannerless pig under all that handsomeness.
