“Hi, can I have one stick of fish cake, please?” Kiara said and handed her coins to the vendor. After a couple of seconds she now got her food, but she finished it quickly and smiled in satisfaction, as she dumped the stick on the trash can of the stall.
“One more, please, it is delicious!” she said, satisfying her cravings.
She continued to eat until she had three. Phoenix just watched her from behind, he was not that far but Kiara seemed to be so engrossed at the food and had forgot the presence of Phoenix already.
Just when she turned around to look for the stall selling barbecue, her eyes caught Phoenix and it dawned her that she is still with him yet she forgot.
“Oh jeez, sir, sorry, I forgot about you. Here come on.” Kiara said and grabbed the sleeve of his dark blue blazer and pulled her to the fish cake
