Chapter 41

It's already morning but the sky was gloomy. Soon rain poured over them all they could hear was the loud cries of Eris. She's gone forever. 

"Please....wake up." he begged, praying that the moon gods will let her live. But that never happened his commanders had to get him off of her. Eris fought them off never leaving the cold, pale dead body of Iris. 

He locked himself up in Iris' room. He was in a wolf form, the beast sniffing the scent of the bed whining in sadness. Luna Illiana's heart ached upon seeing her son wallowing in pain. It's been two days since Iris died and the burial ceremony will happen tomorrow night. 

"How is he?" Lauriel asked her. 

"Not good. He refused to eat anything I tried my best to replicate Iris' special coffee but it was a failure. If only we knew what will happen in the future none of this would've happened."
