The Bride of an Alpha

In the mystical realm of Lunaria,the moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over boundary that surrounded the Moonclaw Pack’s territory. The thick canopy of trees swayed in the wind, and the distant howls of wolves echoed in the night air. At the heart of the forest, tucked deep within the safety of its towering trees, lay the village of the Moonclaw Pack—a sprawling settlement of log cabins, connected by winding dirt paths, glowing lanterns hanging from posts to light the way. The pack was alive with activity as preparations for the Festival of Transformation were well underway. It was a festival of great importance, the night when the daughters of the Alpha would face their destiny.

A solitary figure moved past the boundaries of the territory of the Moonclaw pack and moving into the dense forest to hunt, her long, white hair gleaming in the moonlight like the snow-covered peaks of distant mountains. Her name was Seraphine, and she was an enigma within the pack. Born with a head of snow-white hair and eyes that shone like molten silver, she was unlike any other wolf in the Moonclaw Pack. Her appearance alone had set her apart from the moment of her birth, and the rumors had only grown more vicious with time. The pack always whispered behind her back, calling her cursed, a bad omen. They avoided her, turned their backs on her, and treated her as though she didn’t exist.

It wasn’t just her appearance that had made her an outcast. Seraphine had given birth to triplets, three beautiful children who had the same features like her white hair with unknown origins. No one in the pack knew who their father was. Seraphine had never spoken of him, and the circumstances of their conception were shrouded in mystery. Some said she had consorted with a dark spirit or a demon; others believed she had been cursed by the gods. The truth was, Seraphine kept the secret locked within her heart, knowing that no matter what she said, the pack would never accept her or her children.

Her triplets—two boys and a girl—were just as unusual as their mother. Each child had inherited their mother’s stark white hair and piercing silver eyes, and though they were still young, the pack treated them with the same suspicion and disdain that they showed Seraphine. The children, aware of the cruelty directed their way, played in the shadows of the village, always under their mother’s watchful eye.

But tonight, Seraphine felt a heaviness in her chest, a foreboding sense that something was about to happen. while out hunting for food, she is ambushed by rogues(lone wolves), their snarling jaws and flashing teeth leaving her badly wounded as she eagerly escapes. Upon reaching the boundary of her pack with her last breath, blood trickles down from her forehead as the world blurs. She can barely hear the footsteps approaching her, the concerned murmurs of pack members—those who had once ignored her, now crowding around.

"It's seraphine! Someone get the pack healer"

"Look at her..... even now she brings misfortune upon herself" whispered another pack member.

Seraphine whispered a prayer for her children safety before succumbing to her injuries and slipping away into the darkness.

**In another time, another world…**

In the modern world, far from the ancient traditions of the Moonclaw Pack, a woman known only as Kira prowled the dark streets of a city that never slept. Kira was not her real name, but it was the only one she needed. She was an assassin, a master of the shadows, feared by those who knew of her and unseen by those who didn’t. Her skills were legendary, her ability to move without a trace, to eliminate targets with precision and cold efficiency, made her one of the most sought-after assassins in the underworld.

The dark streets of the city are slick with rain. Kira leans against a crumbling brick wall in a narrow alley, clutching her side where blood pours from a fresh wound. She breathes heavily, her movements slow and deliberate. The sound of distant sirens echoes through the alley, but they are far too late.

“They got me… Damn fools… How did it all go so wrong?” She mutters to herself.

She slides down the wall, her vision dimming as blood pools beneath her. Her hand trembles as she lifts it to the sky, staring up at the moon, full and glowing faintly between the skyscrapers.

“The moon… Funny how it’s always there, watching.”kira smiles despite her miserable state.

Her breath becomes shallow, her body growing cold. She closes her eyes, her mind fading.

“I wonder… will I be lucky… or cursed… when I leave this world?” She whispered

As her vision darkens, she feels an inexplicable pull, a force tugging at her soul. Her body, lifeless, remains in the alley—but her essence drifts, drawn toward the light of the moon.

**Back to the Mystical realm of Lunaria…**

When Seraphine awakened, she was no longer the same.

Or rather, she was—and wasn’t. A new consciousness, a new soul, had taken residence in her body. Kira, the assassin from the 21st century, had been reborn in Seraphine’s form. But with her came all the memories of her past life—the skills, the instincts, the knowledge of the modern world.

Kira woke to the sound of rustling leaves outside her window. Her head pounded from the injury.

Kira (to herself) "What happened? Why do I feel so weak?"

"Where is the place" she looks around in confusion.

[The door creaked open, and a figure entered.]

The figure approached her saying "Seraphine, you should rest. The Festival is tonight."

"Who are you?"

"I'm Elara, the pack's healer. I've brought you medicine."

Elara looked at her pitfully "take the medicine and you will be fine, your children are outside the door waiting for you"

Kira looks in confusion as the old woman walks out

" Children?"

Just as she was wondering she felt a sharp pain in her head as the memories and experiences of Seraphine merges with her own.

Kira suddenly regained consciousness again as she tried to process the information she just got. This was when realization dawned upon her that she has transmigrated into another world.

"Jeez I can't believe I transmigrated to another world. I thought this only exist in fairy tales"

Overwhelmed by the situation she found herself in she stares into blank space before she is distracted by the door opening.
