CHAPTER THREE

           I smoothed my hand on my pencil blue skirt. I was hoping to see her today. If not naturally, I made it happen. I was confident to see her today. But it was vague possibly as she was a kid. Why would he bring his daughter to his office? 

       With a smile on my face, I grabbed my things and headed toward the door. 

       Stepping out, I locked the door of our home and headed toward the stairs. My heels were making noises against the floor. There was no one in view. I could see only people in their running pants. 

      I held out my key and unlocked my car. I sat behind the wheels and put my bag and files on the passenger seat. I put on the seat belt. 

      ' I'm sorry, Ansley. I should be the one to apologize. I should understand that you both were in love. I shouldn't stop talking to you. But I promise Chels
