Chapter 16 Hadley Avery envelopes me in a hug. I feel overwhelming emotion running through me, but somehow the happiness overwhelms the need for tears to spill. Chapter 17 Hadley I look to Cain and realization hits me, the claw marks on him. He was attacked, but he is also a werewolf isn’t he? Why did they attack him? “Those were rogues, they are wolves, but they are not like us. Rogues do not have a pack. They do not listen to or follow any authority. Chapter 20 Hadley Climbing up that slope I immediately recognised Zylith’s voice, she was my best and well truth be told, only friend. Getting to the top I see four large men looking down at her, the scar-face man was there as well, pinching the bridge of his nose, clearly annoyed. Chapter 21HadleyLunch was amazing, I felt stuffed to the brim. Zylith complimented everything and burst into the kitchen to thank the staff, I followed trying to get her to lower her voice and I thanked and apologized after her.She was loud and confident everywhere she went. Chapter 22 Hadley “Zylith you should sit.” I look up from my fiddling hands, I have decided to share this with her. I told complete strangers, all be it weird ones with secrets of their own. Chapter 23HadleyI woke up the next morning rather early, the sun was barely out but I could not force myself to sleep anymore. I felt excited to finally start investigating and hopefully helping people here.I got dressed in comfortable but a little too tight sportswear and a puffy warm jacket. The sound of people talking outside catches my attention and I make my way to the window.Looking down I see Cain and a few other men talking, with Cain’s back to the house.
