~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~
"Jackson, start the car, they are still following us!" Alice yells at him and he swiftly starts the car and drives off to the road hitting the gas hard and driving it as fast as it could go while mumbling 'we're dead'.
I am not sure where Jack is driving to but it certainly isn't the way to any of our homes.
"Jack do you know where you're going?" I ask,
"No, but we can't go home. It's too dangerous, so we are just going to drive until they lose us," Jack says gripping the steering wheel tight,
"Are you insane?! No, we are not going to do that. Our parents will be worried-" Sally says
"Would you prefer them dead than worry about us?!" Jack yells cutting her off,
"We can tell the Sheriff! That's our only option, Jack, they can help us!" Sally yells back
"No! Goddamn it, Sally, can you think for a second?! They have guns and they will not hesitate to shoot whoever they see! We can not get anyone else involved in this, so please just stop and let me do what I can to keep all of us including you safe!"
"Guys could you stop being so immature, what we need right now is to work together not fight," Alice cut in,
"It's not my fault that he so stubborn to listen to other's ideas!" Sally yells pointing at Jack,
"You are the one that is stubborn to understand my point!" Jack yells back at her,
"Enough guys, please. S just let Jack do this. He knows what he is doing," I say calmly,
"Yeah right," Sally mumbles before turning back to her seat,
"So Jack do you have gas?" I ask just realizing if we don't have enough gas we would have to stop,
"Yes, I have enough," Jack says.
We drive for as long as I remember before falling asleep but I wake up a few minutes later with the sound of shooting. I jumped up containing the pain in my stomach to see they shot our window. 'Shit' I mumbled before getting my gun ready to shoot.
"What do you think you're doing? If you get your head out that window for a second they will shoot it so stay put and low," Alice says
"Alice, it's fine. I know what I am doing," I say again getting ready to shoot,
"Don't make me miss, I don't have enough bullets," I say to all of them.
I sneak my head out the window and shoot quickly. I burst one of the tires of the black car in the front. I sneak back in and get ready to shoot the other one. I sneak my head back out and rapidly shoot thrice and the car completely stopped making the other one hit the back of it strenuously. Both cars stopped, one of them's tires are all gone and the other's totally damaged from hitting the other car forcefully.
"You know you could have done that earlier, instead of wasting my gas," Jack says making us all laugh,
"You're seriously worried about your gas?" I chuckle
"Actually though, why didn't you do that earlier?" Jack says,
"I don't know, I didn't think about it until they shot your window," I say honestly,
"Where did you learn to shoot so perfectly?" Sally says dumbfound,
"My dad thought me," I say looking at the gun,
"Guys is that really what you are worried about? Where the hell are we? We've been driving for the last 3 or 4 hours," Alice says worried,
"We still need to drive a little more since they are pretty close to us," Jack says looking at Alice in the rear mirror,
"Can we stop at a gas station? I need to use the washroom and I also am hungry," Sally says,
"Same," Alice and I say at the same time,
"Alright," Jack says checking the map on his phone, "There's one, but it's 25 minutes from here," Jack says looking at us,
"Let's go then," Sally says.
After 25 minutes, we arrive at the gas station. When Jack stopped to get gas, Alice, Sally, and I got off the car. Alice and I walk around the store getting snacks and drinks while Sally uses the ladies' room. 20 minutes later, we were back in the car, eating and driving.
"It's almost midnight, we need to get a hotel to stay overnight and we can return home tomorrow," Jack says,
"I will look for a hotel," Sally says taking Jack's phone. After a while of typing on the phone, she says " I found one 10 minutes away from here, should I hold a room?"
"One for all of us, let's not waste money," Jack says,
"Alright," Sally says once again typing something on the phone,
"I'll pay. I have my card," Jack says and gives her his card,
"Jack you've done too much, let me pay for this," I say giving her my card,
"Yeah, you should've thought of that earlier and shot those a**holes before wasting my gas," Jack says making us chuckle,
"Gosh, why are you still going on about your gas, get over it," Sally says giggling,
"Alright, Jack has won the debate C, I am sorry," she hands me back my card,
"You guys are so dumb, oh my god," Alice says,
"You love us," Jack grins, making Alice giggle.
After Sally paid for the hotel and a while of Jack blattering dumb things, we arrive at the hotel. It looks nice.
We park our car in an indoor parking lot and go straight up to our room. We order room service and eat while chatting about what happened today.
"So we are going to have to tell our parents apparently. We can't ignore them forever. We will go back tomorrow anyway. Should we call them? They are no doubt worried," Sally says while munching on her Pasta,
"Should we call right now? Wouldn't they be asleep?" Jack asks,
"Why are you so dense jack, how would they sleep knowing we are missing? They are probably like with the Sheriff or something, so we should tell them that um...I have no idea. The only thing we can tell them is the truth because there isn't any lie that they would believe that takes us about 5 hours away from home. Even if we wanted to say that we got lost, they would say why didn't you call us," Sally says,
"And how are we going to explain C's stitch?" Alice says pointing at my stomach,
"That too," Sally adds,
"What if they only wanted to drive us out of town you know? What if they didn't even want to kill us at all?" I say the thing that has been going on in my mind for the last couple of minutes,
"Maybe, but my uncle attempted to kill us though, I am sure he never assumed we would kill him, would he have?" Alice asks. Yeah, she is right. He couldn't have assumed we would kill him, why would he want to get killed, by us?
"We should just tell them the truth and just accept the consequences. We won't be safe without their protection. Today was a miracle I know, but no one knows what happens tomorrow and the day after and I am sure we won't survive without their protection," I state the truth,
"C is right. I agree with him," Alice says,
"Me too," Sally says,
"Jack?" I ask when he stays quiet,
"Fine then I guess. I have to go to bed," Jack says and gets off the floor heading to the bathroom.
Tomorrow is going to be a hard day, there's going to be too much disaster, so I say bye to the girls and also went to bed.
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ Some things in life are meant to happen and some are just meant to be small events but never continuous. Take my life for example. Things have happened, either for a reason or just events. Jack, Alice, and Sally are what is meant to happen. They are the people that I meant to be with. That I am meant to be friends with forever, but if we take Nate, Christoffer, and the others, they are just events. They are just meant to be a tiny part of my life just to fulfill it.Jack, Alice, and Sally are the ones that are an extensive part of my life. They are the ones that hold the most part/event of my life.When I became friends with Nate and the rest, I never suspected any kind of harm to me. When they told me they had a surprise for me for my birthday, I never anticipated any kind of harm. Neither did I expect Jack, Sally, and Alice to be there to save me. I don't know what would've happened to me by now if they weren't there to save me in time. I
~~~ Jack's Point of View ~~~ (Earlier the morning Cyrus got stabbed)"Come on, would it be that bad to just drop him off his present like we used to? Just because I don't talk to him, doesn't mean I hate him all of a sudden," I reply when Alice asks me if it was such a good idea to drop him off a present.Every year, on one of us' birthday, the other three drop off 3 presents at the door of the house and leave. It's the birthday person's part to figure out which present is from who. That's the fun part. Figuring out which one's from who. If he/she gets it right, they get another one big present from all three of us together."I guess not," Alice replies shrugging,"Okay, let's go before he gets out. He probably has plans," Sally says walking towards the front door,"Wait..." I stop them with my hand behind me and hide behind the wall,"What is it?" Sally says loudly,"Shhh. It's Cyrus's friends. They look like they are about to fight. Be quiet, let me listen," I whisper, putting
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ Nope. I am not waking up. I am not getting out of bed. Do you know what it means if I get out of bed? Do you know what it means if I leave this house? It means I break someone's heart. Jesus, save my day, please.I get out of bed groaning and slam the bathroom shut. I take a shower as slowly as I can, letting the hot water run down my skin. I brush my teeth leisurely before dragging myself out of the washroom and putting on deodorant. I take a look at my charming self in the mirror one last time before rushing downstairs to get something to eat. I snatch the milk cartoon out getting irritated when it didn't get out the first time I tried to pull it out. I pour some milk in my bowl before the cereal.Some people put the cereal first before the milk. I find it weird that people do that though. I don't know, maybe it's because I grew up
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ It has been two weeks since we started dating. Meaning half of our house arrest passed by like 4 minutes. We were never late in those 4 weeks. Well, there's this one time that Nate was fooling around in a bar and he got drunk. Don't ask me how he can drink, because he has a fake ID. It was 6 by the time we found out he was 25 minutes away from his house and drunk. I don't know how Chris found out, but he told me as soon as he did and we rushed to the place speeding past the limit. Now think of it, if we weren't speeding, we could've been late because of him. All three of us. A week would've been added to our house arrest because of one jerk fooling around and drinking when A). he's underage, and B). he's on house arrest. Thankfully, we got there in fifteen minutes and drove back faster than
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~I am putting on a shirt, just like last time, crowded by the jerks. They still can't get over the fact that I am going on a date with someone other than Alice. I can't believe it either. I mean it's not impossible but it is surprising. I promised myself that she was the only girl that I would ever love. Well, not that I love Kelsie but I am sure I will get there with her too."Dude, it's time. Get yo ass outta here," Nate pushes me off the bed,"Alright, alright. Relax," I say walking out.I had no idea where to take her so they told me to take her to the cliff where we swam last Sunday. I told them it wasn't a good idea but they said I can take her somewhere else if I had a better idea. This is, to be honest, my first time taking someone on a real date.Do
~~~ Cyrus's Point of View ~~~ It's Sunday. Meaning, laying in bed all day, eating, and watching Netflix. I push the sheets down and get out of bed to go to the washroom. I get out a couple of minutes later to find the annoying jerks on my bed."No guys, I don't want to deal with you today. Today is Sunday. Meaning all day, alone, in bed," I say pushing them off my bed getting ready to get back in bed,"Very funny. Now get changed. We're going somewhere," he jokes,"Guys, this is no time to joke. Who even let you in?" I am pretty sure dad has already left by now,"We've been to your house a lot of times, do you think we don't know that you put your key under the rug?" Nate says,"Whatever. Get out of my room," I say pushing all of them out of the room,"Nope. Get cha
